The Bureau of Customs (BOC) โ Subport of Mactan officially accepted the donation of three (3) iFLYTEK Dual-Screen Translators from the Consulate-General of the People's Republic of China in Cebu during a turnover held on July 29, 2026.
The iFLYTEK Dual-Screen Translators are designed to facilitate multilingual communication through real-time translation capabilities. The devices are expected to enhance communication with foreign travelers, stakeholders, and international partners, supporting the Bureau's commitment to efficient and client-focused customs services.
The turnover was completed with the signing of the Certificate of Acceptance, signifying the official receipt of the donated equipment by the Bureau of Customs Subport of Mactan.
โThese projects reflect the trust and confidence of our partners in the business community, making them especially meaningful. More importantly, investments and opportunities like these contribute to the country's economic growth,โ said Port Collector Gerardo A. Campo, LCB.
Under the leadership of Commissioner Ariel F. Nepomuceno, with constant guidance of District Collector Atty. Zsae Carrie C. De Guzman, the Bureau of Customs Subport of Mactan remains committed to simplify procedures and facilitate secured trade while strengthening partnerships with stakeholders, at the same time ensuring lawful revenue collection, and supporting programs that increase employment, economic growth, and a more welcoming business environment in the nation.
