​The Lapu-Lapu City Para-Athlete Team, led by our PDAO Head, Mr. Christopher "Kit" Amomonpon Jr., proudly participated in the Invitational Para-Sport Tournament at CTU-Daanbantayan on August 14-15, 2026, hosted by the Daanbantayan PDAO.

​Our amazing athletes gave their all in Sitting Volleyball, Wheelchair Basketball, and Chess—with our very own Dennis Pelecio dominating the board and bagging the Chess Championship title! 🎉♟️
​This milestone and victory would not have been possible without the unwavering support of our leaders:

Currently serving in various departments across the LGU, these dedicated professionals are proof that when given the right opportunities, Persons with Disabilities possess the capability to contribute significantly to our city’s progress. They are not merely beneficiaries—they are active, vital partners in nation-building. 🇵🇭✨

MID-YEAR CASH GIFT PAYOUT PARA SA MGA SENIOR CITIZENS UG PWDs

Mga Oponganon, magsugod na kitag distribute sa Cash Gift alang sa atong mga pinalanggang Senior Citizens ug Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) dinhi sa City of Lapu-Lapu. Kini kabahin sa atong padayong tinguha nga makahatag og hinabang ug pag-atiman sa nagkalain-laing sector sa atong syudad.

BACK-TO-BACK PRODUCTIVE MEETINGS! 🦾💼

​Today was a day of active collaboration and planning as we worked closely with our community partners to better serve our constituents.

​📍 Morning Session: LLCPWD Inc. Monthly Meeting

The Lapu-Lapu City Federation of Persons With Disabilities (LLCFPWD) Inc. conducted its monthly meeting to discuss the initial plans and address concerns regarding the upcoming Cash Gift Payout for Persons With Disabilities. Our PDAO staff, Bon, joined the session to provide vital updates and answer questions to ensure a smooth and organized payout process.

​📍 Afternoon Session: LAWWD Reorganization & Election

The momentum continued in the afternoon as Bon joined Federation President Ms. Teresita Signe to facilitate the reorganization of the Lapu-Lapu Association of Women Workers with Disabilities (LAWWD).

​Following a successful election of new officers, the group immediately transitioned into discussing future milestones—most notably their upcoming registration with the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE).
​The PDAO remains committed to supporting your vision and helping your organizations grow.
