Community Engagement "Monthly Meeting of Police Station 4 Advisory Group "

On or about 2:00 PM onwards of September 14, 2026, personnel of Police Station 4, LCPO, led by PEMS Nelson Jose Nunez under the direct Supervision of PMAJ BONIFACIO M PAREJA Acting Station Commander , attended the Monthly Meeting of the Police Station 4 Advisory Group held at Cafe Engelberg Brgy. Basak, Lapu-Lapu City.
The meeting served as an important venue for collaboration and dialogue between Police Station 4 and its community stakeholders, aimed at strengthening police–community partnership.
During the activity, Police Station 4 presented the crime rate statistical reports, providing updates on the peace and order situation within its Area of Responsibility (AOR). The presentation was intended to inform the council members of current crime trends and the effectiveness of ongoing police programs and interventions.
Furthermore, the meeting provided an opportunity to address various issues and concerns raised by the stakeholders, allowing open discussion and the exchange of ideas to further enhance cooperation between the police and the community. Concerns related to public safety, crime prevention, and community engagement were discussed, with corresponding responses and commitments from Police Station 4.
Moreover, the activity included the planning of activities for the upcoming Christmas Season, in collaboration with the community .
The meeting concluded with a shared commitment between Police Station 4 and the Advisory Group Council to continue working together in maintaining peace, order, and public safety within the community.

Community Engagement " Barangay Marigondon BADAC Monthly Meeting"

On or about 10:00 AM onwards of September 14, 2026 PSSg Michael Diaz CAD PNCO/PSB, under the direct supervision of PMAJ BONIFACIO M PAREJA Acting Station Commander,PS4, actively attended the Barangay Marigondon Monthly Barangay Anti-Drug Abuse Council (BADAC) Meeting held at the Barangay Session Hall of Brgy. Marigondon.
The said meeting was conducted to strengthen inter-agency coordination awareness regarding on the National Task Force to End Local Communists Armed Conflict (NTF-ELCAC) and also to assess the current status of the barangay’s anti-illegal drugs campaign. During the activity, updates were discussed regarding ongoing drug-clearing efforts, monitoring of listed personalities, progress of community-based rehabilitation programs, and the proper documentation and compliance requirements for BADAC operations.
PSSg Michael Diaz CAD PNCO provided guidance and inputs relative to PNP policies and best practices in anti-drug initiatives, emphasizing the importance of accurate record-keeping, sustained monitoring, and community participation.
Furthermore, the meeting served as a venue to address existing concerns, scheduled of Anti-Drug Campaign Symposium,update ofHouse to house Visitation, identify gaps in implementation, and formulate appropriate strategies to enhance the effectiveness of the barangay’s anti-drug programs.
The presence of the CAD PNCO reinforced the PNP’s continuous support and commitment in assisting the barangay in maintaining a drug-free and peaceful community.
The activity concluded with a renewed commitment among BADAC members to work collaboratively with the Philippine National Police and other stakeholders in sustaining proactive measures against illegal drugs, thereby promoting public safety and community well-being in Brgy. Marigondon.

Community Engagement Barangay Visitation

At around 11:45 AM onwards of September 14, 2026 Police Station 4 personnel Pat Melencion asst. CAD PNCO under supervision of PMAJ BONIFACIO M PAREJA Acting Station Commander, PS4 conducted community engagement through barangay visitation and drug watchlist monitoring in coordination with the BADAC Focal Person of Barangay Basak Mr. Hermeniano Oyao to strengthen collaboration with the Barangay Anti-Drug Abuse Council (BADAC).
The BADAC Focal Person provided relevant information to aid in validating entries in the watch list and ensuring accurate documentation. PS4 personnel also engaged with community members to enhance police presence, encourage public cooperation, and support implementation of Anti-Criminality, crime prevention with the support of PNP, and also, discuss campaign against terrorism in relation to NTF-ELCAC, and also to support the Drug Reduction Program and other relevant matters issues, supporting the PNP's ongoing campaign against illegal drugs.

Community Engagement thru Intensified Anti-Criminality Implementation of Curfew for minors,Oplan Galugad/Bulabog/Sita for "Safer Cities Initiatives"

At around 10:00 PM onwards of September 13, 2026 Personnel from Police Station 4 led by PLT ELMER ABESIA, Deputy PS4 under the direct supervision of PMAJ BONIFACIO M PAREJA Acting Station Commander ,PS4, conducted Intensified Anti-Criminality Implementation of Curfew hours,Oplan Bulabog/Galugad/Bakal and Sita in causeway Marigondon Port Lapu-lapu City.

The operation aimed to ensure strict compliance with existing laws and PNP policies prohibiting the carrying of fi****ms or any deadly weapons inside entertainment establishments and to maintain public safety and order. And also to discourage opportunities for criminal elements to take advantage of vulnerable youth during nighttime hours, and aligning with NTF-ELCAC objectives.
Implementing Curfews Hour's help create a safer community by reducing disturbances, crimes, and accidents often associated with unsupervised gatherings of minors during late hours.

COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT "STRENGTHENING COMMUNITY-BASED DRUG ABUSE PREVENTION AND AWARENESS PROGRAM"

On or about 9:00 AM to 12:00 NN of September 13, 2026, personnel of Police Station 4, Lapu-Lapu City Police Office, particularly PSSg Michael Diaz, CAD PNCO, together with Pat Sandrio C Melencion, Assistant CAD PNCO, under the direct supervision of PMAJ BONIFACIO M PAREJA, Acting Station Commander, PS4, in close coordination with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) and the Barangay Officials of Barangay Agus, together with the BADAC Focal Person, conducted a Community-Based Drug Abuse Prevention and Awareness Seminar at Barangay Agus, Lapu-Lapu City.
The activity was attended by members of the Urban Poor Association of Barangay Agus and was conducted to strengthen community awareness regarding the dangers and harmful effects of illegal drugs, the important role of community members in preventing drug-related activities, and the need for continued cooperation and support for the government's anti-drug campaign.
The seminar also formed part of the Barangay Agus Drug-Clearing Retention Program, aimed at sustaining the barangay's drug-cleared status through continuous education, community participation, vigilance, and coordinated anti-drug prevention efforts.
The activity concluded successfully with positive feedback from the participants and a strengthened commitment from the community and BADAC to continuously support the PNP, PDEA, and other concerned agencies in promoting a safe and drug-free community.

Anti-criminality Checkpoint Operation

‎On or about 08:00 AM to 11:00 AM of September 12, 2026 Police Station 4 personnel led by PLT ELMER ABESIA Deputy Station Commander under the Supervision of PMAJ BONIFACIO M PAREJA, Acting Station Commander, PS4 , LCPO conduct Anti-criminality Checkpoint Operation together with Barangay Basak BPSO/Force Multipliers along Hawaiian Petron and cor. Mahayahay Marbeach Barangay Marigondon and hotshot Barangay Subabasbas Lapu-lapu City. This operation forms part of the continuous efforts of Police Station 4 to enforce existing traffic laws and ordinances within the City of Lapu-Lapu. To aimed to deter traffic violations, promote responsible driving, and maintain the orderly flow of traffic in accordance with City Traffic Ordinances and other related issuances.

‎The activity was conducted peacefully and positive results, with no untoward incidents happened.
