The newly installed Jail Warden of Lapu-Lapu City Jail – Female Dormitory, JCINSP MARICEL MIJARES, paid a courtesy call on PCOL AGOSTO P DASKEO, City Director of the Lapu-Lapu City Police Office.

The courtesy call served as an opportunity to foster stronger coordination, collaboration, and partnership between the BJMP and PNP in maintaining peace and order, enhancing jail security, and ensuring the safety and welfare of persons deprived of liberty (PDLs), personnel, and the community.

Promoting discipline, professionalism, and proper bearing among personnel, a Rank Inspection was conducted at the Lapu-Lapu City Jail – Female Dormitory, under the leadership of JCINSP MARICEL MIJARES, Jail Warden.

The inspection aimed to ensure proper grooming, uniformity, discipline, and adherence to established standards, reflecting the personnel’s commitment to professionalism and excellence in public service.

🇵🇭 TRADITIONAL MONDAY FLAG RAISING CEREMONY & VALUES RESTORATION PROGRAM: “AFFABILITY”

The Lapu-Lapu City Jail – Female Dormitory successfully conducted its Traditional Monday Flag Raising Ceremony, followed by the Values Restoration Program (VRP) with the value focus “Affability.”

The activity highlighted the importance of being approachable, friendly, respectful, and considerate in dealing with others—values that strengthen teamwork, build positive relationships, and promote a harmonious workplace.

The VRP was conducted by JO1 Juleina C Manulat, who emphasized that affability is reflected not only in words, but also through kindness, respect, and genuine concern for others.

Indeed, every Monday is an opportunity to start the week with discipline, unity, positivity, and a renewed commitment to public service.

JOINT GREYHOUND OPERATION | DRUG SYMPOSIUM

The Lapu-Lapu City Jail – Female Dormitory, headed by JCINSP MARICEL MIJARES, Jail Warden, in coordination with the Special Operations Unit 7 (SOU 7), PNP-Drug Enforcement Group, conducted a Joint Greyhound Operation as part of the continuing efforts to maintain a safe, secure, and drug-free jail facility.

The activity was followed by a Drug Symposium, which aimed to strengthen personnel and Persons Deprived of Liberty’s awareness and understanding of the dangers of illegal drugs, preventive measures, and the importance of vigilance in maintaining a drug-free environment.

The joint initiative underscores the commitment of the Lapu-Lapu City Jail – Female Dormitory and its partner law enforcement agencies to uphold security, discipline, and a drug-free jail facility through strengthened coordination, preventive measures, and continuous personnel development.

🌏 EARTHQUAKE PREPAREDNESS AND RESPONSE SEMINAR & DRILL 🚨

Lapu-Lapu City Jail – Female Dormitory, headed by JCINSP MARICEL MIJARES, Jail Warden, actively participated in the Earthquake Preparedness and Response Seminar and Earthquake Drill conducted in coordination with the Lapu-Lapu City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (CDRRMO).

The activity aimed to strengthen the knowledge, awareness, and readiness of personnel in responding to earthquake-related emergencies. It included discussions on preparedness measures, emergency response procedures, evacuation protocols, and safety practices, followed by a practical earthquake drill to reinforce proper response and evacuation procedures.

The activity contributes to ensuring the safety and well-being of personnel and Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDLs) during emergencies.

The Lapu-Lapu City Jail – Female Dormitory, headed by JCINSP MARICEL MIJARES, successfully conducted the Kalinaw at Paglaum Wellness – Yoga and Sound Healing Session, providing a meaningful space for relaxation, mindfulness, and inner healing.

Through gentle yoga, calming sounds, and guided moments of reflection, participants were encouraged to release stress, embrace peace, and nurture their overall well-being.

ALCOMENDRAS, ay nagsagawa ng Quarterly Inspection sa Lapu-Lapu City Jail – Female Dormitory (LLCJ-FD) sa ilalim ng pamumuno ni JCINSP MARICEL MIJARES, Jail Warden.

Layunin ng inspeksyon na suriin ang pagpapatupad ng mga programa para sa kapakanan at pagpapaunlad, tiyakin ang pagsunod sa mga itinakdang polisiya at pamantayan, at tasahin ang pagbibigay ng mga serbisyo at interbensyong naglalayong itaguyod ang kalusugan, kapakanan, rehabilitasyon, at pangkalahatang kagalingan ng mga Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDLs).
