𝐏𝐚𝐬𝐚𝐲 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐲 — Authorities successfully intercepted a 52-year-old female passenger from Sta. Rosa, Laguna at the Bureau of Immigration (BI) Departure Area, Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 1, early this morning, October 29, 2025, after BI records revealed that she has an outstanding warrant of arrest for carnapping.

At around 4:25 a.m., Immigration officers in coordination with the PNP Aviation Security Group (AVSEGROUP) – NAIA Police Station 1 (PS1) discovered through the Border Control Information System (BCIS) that the passenger, who was bound for Singapore with an ETD of 5:50 a.m., was a subject of an active warrant of arrest issued on July 3, 2017, by the Regional Trial Court, Branch 56, Angeles City, Pampanga, for Violation of Section 3 of Republic Act No. 10883 (New Anti-Carnapping Act of 2016). The warrant carried no bail recommendation.

During the initial inquiry conducted by this unit, the suspect claimed that she had already posted bail; however, she failed to present any supporting documents to substantiate her claim. She was subsequently brought to NAIA PS1 for proper disposition and coordination with the issuing court for verification and validation of the warrant.

𝐏𝐚𝐬𝐚𝐲 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐲, 𝐎𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟐𝟖, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓 — In pursuit of wanted persons in the Philippines, a 69-year-old U.S. citizen and arriving passenger from San Francisco, USA, was arrested at the Immigration Checkpoint of NAIA Terminal 3 on Tuesday morning.

The arrest was carried out by PNP AVSEGROUP and Makati City Police upon the request of the Bureau of Immigration, by virtue of a warrant issued by the National Capital Judicial Region, Branch 3, Makati City, dated April 2, 2025, for violation of Republic Act 9262 or the Anti-Violence Against Women and Their Children Act, with bail set at ₱72,000.00. The suspect has been turned over to the Makati City Police Station for further legal action.

PBGEN Jay R Cumigad, Director of AVSEGROUP, commended the effective coordination between agencies, stating, “The vigilance and cooperation of all units involved led to the successful arrest of the suspect.” # # #

𝐏𝐚𝐬𝐚𝐲 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐲 – Mabilis na aksyon at pagtutulungan ng mga tauhan ng PNP Aviation Security Group at Pasay City Police Station ang nagresulta sa pagkakaaresto ng isang lalaking Bangladeshi national na may kinakaharap na kaso paglapag nito sa Arrival Area ng Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 3 nitong hapon ng Lunes, October 27, 2025.

Sa naging koordinasyon ng Pasay City Police Station-Station Intelligence Section sa NAIA Police Station 3, naaresto ang akusado na dumating mula Bangkok,Thailand sa bisa ng Warrant of Arrest para sa paglabag niya sa Section 155 o Trademark Infringement na may kaugnayan sa Section 170 ng Republic Act 8293 o mas kilala bilang Intellectual Property Code of the Philippines. Ang kinakaharap na kaso ay may rekomendadong piyansa na Php10,000.00.

Agad na ipinaliwanag sa akusado ang dahilan ng kanyang pagkaka-aresto at ang kaniyang mga karapatan alinsunod sa Miranda Doctrine, gamit ang wikang kanyang nauunawaan. Gumamit din ng Alternative Recording Device bilang bahagi ng standard operating procedure ng pulisya.

Kasalukuyan nang nasa kustodiya ng Pasay City Police Station-Station Intelligence Section ang akusado para sa tamang dokumentasyon at iba pang legal na proseso.

“Lokal man o dayuhan, kapag pumasok ka sa paliparan na may kinakaharap na kaso, tiyak na haharap ka sa batas. Naninindigan ang AVSEGROUP katuwang ang mga airport authorities at mga lokal na yunit, na protektado at ligtas ang bawat pasahero sa lahat ng paliparan ng bansa”, saad ni PBGen Jay Reyes Cumigad, Director of PNP AVSEGROUP. # # #

24-ORAS NA PNP CRACKDOWN, UMANI NG TAGUMPAY: 6 WANTED ARESTADO, ₱9.9M DROGA NASAMSAM

Alinsunod sa direktiba ni Pangulong Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. na paigtingin ang kampanya laban sa ilegal na droga at kriminalidad, matagumpay na nagsagawa ang Philippine National Police (PNP) sa ilalim ng pamumuno ni Acting Chief, PLTGEN Jose Melencio C. Nartatez Jr., ng 24-oras na sunod-sunod na operasyon sa iba’t ibang rehiyon ng bansa na nagresulta sa pagkakaaresto ng anim na wanted persons at pagkakasamsam ng halos ₱9,996,000.00 halaga ng ilegal na droga.

Sa serye ng operasyon sa mga rehiyon ng PRO 7 (Central Visayas), PRO NIR, PRO 4A (CALABARZON), at PRO 4B (MIMAROPA), anim na personalidad na may mga kasong murder, r**e, statutory r**e, at paglabag sa Dangerous Drugs Act ang naaresto—apat sa kanila ay kabilang sa Regional Most Wanted list. Karamihan sa mga ito ay walang piyansang inirerekomenda.

Samantala, dalawang high-value target ang naaresto sa magkahiwalay na buy-bust operation sa Estancia, Iloilo (PRO6 – Western Visayas) at Tagoloan, Misamis Oriental (PRO10 – Northern Mindanao) kung saan nakumpiska ang kabuuang 270 gramo ng shabu na may halagang ₱1,836,000.00.

Kasabay nito, matagumpay ding naisagawa ang ma*****na eradication operations sa mga hilagang lalawigan ng Sugpon, Ilocos Sur (PRO1 – Ilocos Region) at Tinglayan, Kalinga (PRO-Cordillera). Sa pinagsanib na pwersa ng mga pulis at PDEA, nadiskubre at sinunog ang 40,800 fully grown ma*****na plants na may kabuuang Standard Drug Price na ₱8,160,000.00.

“Ang mga pag-arestong ito at pagkakasamsam ng ilegal na droga ay malinaw na patunay ng ating determinasyon na tugisin ang mga kriminal at buwagin ang mga sindikatong kriminal saan man sila nagtatago,” pahayag ni PNP Acting Chief, PLTGEN Jose Melencio C. Nartatez Jr. “Walang makatatakas sa batas. Magpapatuloy tayo sa mga operasyon nang may tapang, disiplina, at malasakit upang maramdaman ng mamamayan ang tunay na proteksyon mula sa kanilang kapulisan.”

Tiniyak ng PNP na patuloy nitong isusulong ang adhikain ng “Bagong PNP para sa Bagong Pilipinas: Serbisyong mabilis, tapat, at nararamdaman.” — isang kapulisan na kumikilos nang may puso, integridad, at malasakit.
