Training-Workshop on the Story Development of the Naming/Origin of the Various Barangays in Lapu-Lapu City
& Design Bldg., Lo-ok NHS-Senior HS, Lapu-Lapu City
As we accomplished the development of the local stories featuring myths and legends among barangays in Lapu-Lapu City, today, we stepped forward and commenced on the crafting of another set of learning resources featuring the stories of the naming/origin of all barangays in our City. Both these stories (legend/myths and naming/origin) will educate our learners to know deeply their local history and heritage.
This significant milestone will bring our learners closer to knowing better their origin and heritage, appreciate and take pride of their identity and culture as Oponganons.
These series of activities will undertake stages of development, quality assurance, refinement, finalization, field validation/testing, reproduction and utilization to guarantee quality utilization and learning outcomes desired in this pursuit.
Our target launching of these learning materials is set on April 2027 and for field utilization beginning SY 2027-2028.
Our biggest thanks to our DepEd SDO LLC officials headed by our SDS Dr. Marilyn Andales CESO V with our OIC-ASDS Dr. Doc Ronald Ferrer and CID Chief Dr. Oliver Manching Tuburan for the unwavering support and guidance in this project.
