Earlier today, we successfully held the "Training on Engineering for Non-Engineers: Strengthening Local Project Monitoring Committee (LPMC)", attended by LPMC Members of LGU Lapinig.

This activity aimed to build the technical capacity of our LPMC members by providing them with essential engineering knowledge to effectively monitor and evaluate local infrastructure projects.

On May 20, 2025, we successfully conducted a Zoom orientation on Early Warning, Prevention, and Response to the Risk of Violent Extremist Groups as part of our Prevention and Countering Violent Extremism (PCVE) Program.

We were honored to have the active participation of representatives from Barangay Can Maria and Barangay Pio Del Pilar. This initiative aimed to strengthen local capacities in identifying early signs of radicalization and to enhance community-based strategies in addressing potential threats.

The SGLGB Team of LGU Lapinig has successfully conducted the Seal of Good Local Governance for Barangays (SGLGB) Pre-Assessment on April 29-30, 2025, in the barangays of Can Omanio, Imelda, Potong Del Norte, and Lapinig Del Norte.

This activity aims to evaluate the readiness and compliance of barangays with the SGLGB indicatorsβ€”focusing on governance areas on financial administration, disaster preparedness, safety, peace and order, social protection, business friendliness, and environmental protection.

The Lupong Tagapamayapa Incentives Awards (LTIA) assessment and validation continued last week, covering six barangaysβ€”Look, Cahagwayan, Bagacay, Palanas, Lapinig Del Norte, and Lapinig Del Surβ€” from March 18-21, 2025. βœ…

The LTIA team, led by MLGOO of DILG Lapinig as the chair of LTIA MAC, along with SB Committee Chair on Peace and Order, MCTC Gamay Clerk of Court, Chief of Police - Lapinig MPS, LNB President, and a CSO Representative, worked tirelessly to ensure an effective assessment process.

The Local Government Unit of Lapinig successfully conducted the Joint Meeting of the Municipal Development Council (MDC), Municipal Peace and Order Council (MPOC), Municipal Anti-Drug Abuse Council (MADAC), and other Local Special Bodies on January 31, 2025.

This meeting served as a platform for key stakeholders to discuss development priorities, peace and order concerns, anti-drug initiatives, disaster preparedness strategies, and other essential governance matters. The collaboration among council members ensures a more coordinated and effective approach in addressing community needs.
