The Barangay Council, Tanods and BHWs of Barangay 8, San Vicente, under the leadership of Punong Barangay Roque “Rbee” Ablan, proudly participated in Brigada Eskwela 2026 at Shamrock Elementary School, joining the Department of Education’s annual initiative to prepare schools for the opening of classes.

Through the spirit of bayanihan, barangay officials, volunteers, and community partners came together to support various school improvement activities, helping create a clean, safe, and conducive learning environment for our students.

This collective effort reflects our shared commitment to education and our belief that building a brighter future begins with supporting our schools and empowering our learners.

🏡📋 HOUSE-TO-HOUSE VALIDATION OF BARANGAY CONSTITUENTS 📋🏡

As part of the barangay’s commitment to ensuring that government programs reach the rightful beneficiaries, a house-to-house validation activity is being conducted among residents of Barangay 8, San Vicente.

The activity includes the verification of PSA records for pension beneficiaries and recipients of various social assistance programs to help maintain accurate and updated records, strengthen data integrity, and ensure the proper delivery of government services.

Under the leadership of Punong Barangay Roque “Rbee” Ablan, Barangay 8 continues to support initiatives that promote transparency, accountability, and efficient public service for the benefit of all constituents.

We encourage our residents to extend their cooperation during the validation process as we work together to ensure that assistance reaches those who truly need it.

This achievement reflects the commitment of the Barangay Council to transparency, proper fund management, and responsible public service under the leadership of Punong Barangay Roque “Rbee” Ablan.

Nakikiisa ang Barangay 8, San Vicente, sa pangunguna ni Punong Barangay Roque “Rbee” Ablan at ng buong Barangay Council, sa pagdiriwang ng 61st Charter Day ng Laoag City ngayong buwan ng Hunyo sa pangunguna ni Mayor James Bryan Alcid💙💛

Sa loob ng 61 taon, patuloy na umuunlad ang ating lungsod sa pamamagitan ng pagkakaisa, sipag, at malasakit ng bawat Laoagueño. Ang pagdiriwang na ito ay hindi lamang paggunita sa kasaysayan ng ating lungsod kundi pagkilala rin sa mga mamamayang naging bahagi ng paghubog ng isang mas maunlad, mapayapa, at progresibong Laoag.

KALINISAN WEEKLY REPORT
Barangay 8, San Vicente
Date of Activity: May 22, 2026

Under the leadership of PB Rbee Ablan, and through collective effort and active participation, the HAPAG area of the barangay was successfully cleaned, beautified, and improved to create a cleaner, greener, and more welcoming community space.
This initiative reflects the barangay’s commitment to environmental responsibility, sustainable community practices, and active citizen involvement in maintaining an organized and productive environment.

The activity gathered a total of 21 participants, composed of 6 Barangay Officials, 8 Barangay Tanods, 1 Barangay Secretary, 1 BHA, 1 BHW, 1 SK Chairperson, 2 GIPs, and 1 volunteer. A total of 40 kilograms of waste were collected during the clean-up activity.

This undertaking demonstrates the importance of unity, cooperation, and shared responsibility in sustaining cleanliness and promoting a healthier, cleaner, and more pleasant community for all residents.
