Our first year as the Sangguninag Kabataan of San Mateo has been an incredible journey of community service and youth empowerment. Attended seminars that foster our leadership and engaging in different activities to ensure our social skills.

We, the SK San Mateo plays a pivotal role on shaping the future of our community and ensuring the voice of young people are heard and valued in the society.

𝐁𝐀𝐑𝐀𝐍𝐆𝐀𝐘 𝐅𝐈𝐄𝐒𝐓𝐀 𝐈 𝐒𝐄𝐏𝐓𝐄𝐌𝐁𝐄𝐑 𝟐𝟏, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟒🎉✨
The San Mateo Barangay Fiesta 2024 with a theme: “Panagkaykaysa ayat ken talna, Panag progreso pasantaken na” was a dazzling celebration that brought our community to life! Under the vibrant leadership of Punong Barangay Dante Agustin, along with the dedicated barangay council and the SK Council, the event radiated joy and unity.

The festivities were enriched by the presence of special guests from the Sangguniang Bayan/Panlungsod; Hon. Bryan Alcid, Hon. Bjorn Lao, Hon. Handy Lao, Hon. Jaybee Baquiran, and SK Federation President of Laoag City, Hon. Michael Christophe Agustin, who brought an extra touch of honor to the occasion.

The night was also highlighted by the performances of differenrent barangay organizations, Barangay Tanod, BASCA, KALIPI, OFW, RIC, and SKB

A heartfelt thank you to all the sponsors who made this event possible, along with everyone who contributed to making this fiesta a spectacular success! Together, we celebrated not just our bonds but also the unite us as a community, creating a day we will cherish for years to come!

𝐒𝐀𝐍 𝐌𝐀𝐓𝐄𝐎 𝐆𝐎𝐓 𝐓𝐀𝐋𝐄𝐍𝐓 𝐥 𝐒𝐄𝐏𝐓𝐄𝐌𝐁𝐄𝐑 𝟐𝟎, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟒🎶

One of the main Barangay Fiesta activities was San Mateo Got Talent, led by SK Chairperson Dimple Faye A. Pacete and her SK Council. The activity where barangay San Mateo residents showcase their talents, embracing new experiences, and building their self confidence.

From singers to dancers, the stage became a showcase of talent, with each participant leaving the audience in awe. The atmosphere was electric as the community gathered to support their local stars, creating an unforgettable evening of celebration and camaraderie.

The event would not have been complete without the panel of judges—Merry Chris Corpuz, Maxine Foz, Mike Gio Medrano, and Jonathan Bartolome—for their invaluable time, expertise, and contribution to making the event a success.

We would like to congratulate and thank all the participants for joining and make the San Mateo Got Talent a success.

The activity was a massive success led by Kagawad Greg Arucan and SK officials, bringing together the San Mateo community to celebrate health, unity, and the spirit of our barangay fiesta🌞. A fantastic day of community, fitness, and celebration! From start to finish, every runner showed heart and determination, making this event one of the highlights of Barangay Fiesta 2024.

We want to extend our heartfelt thanks to all the participants for making this activity a successful one. Whether walking, running, or cheering, everyone played a part in this joyous occasion! 👏💙

LOOK | August 28, 2024 —Oath Taking Ceremony of the Newly Appointed SK Chairperson of San Mateo Laoag City

DIMPLE FAYE ALEJANDRO PACETE is now set to execute her leadership skills to the vast land of Laoag City particularly in San Mateo.

The Oath Taking ceremony was conducted at the City Government of Laoag - Mayor’s Office, inducted by the Father of our City, Mayor Michael Marcos Keon. Accompanied by the Barangay Council headed by Punong Barangay Dante Agustin.

Midst the bustling atmosphere of this journey, let us all support our SK Council of San Mateo Laoag City. Their AMBITION, DEDICATION and ACTION will always be their mantra to lead and to be the catalyst of change.
