The Negosyo Center Business Counselors of the Department of Trade and Industry โ Ilocos Norte (DTI Ilocos Norte) were privileged to serve as resource speakers in a series of community-based trainings organized by the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR) Region I and the Laoag City Social Welfare and Development Office (CSWDO).
๐ Marketing Assistance and Enterprise Development Training

The training gathered 16 participants, who gained insights on marketing strategies and enterprise development to enhance their livelihood opportunities.

A total of 14 participants actively engaged in discussions on product promotion, pricing, and basic entrepreneurship.

With 20 participants in attendance, the session emphasized the importance of market linkage and sustainable enterprise growth.

The activity benefitted 15 participants, who learned practical approaches to financial literacy and resource management through interactive sessions.
๐ Basic Business Management and Skills Development Training
๐๏ธ 17 October 2025 | Brgy. 27, Laoag City
The training was successfully conducted with 200 participants, focusing on basic business management, financial literacy, and bookkeeping to strengthen micro-enterprise operations.
Through these collaborative efforts, DTI Ilocos Norte provided lectures on essential business concepts such as product costing, pricing, financial management, and livelihood sustainability โ all aimed at capacitating local entrepreneurs and community members toward economic self-sufficiency.
DTI Ilocos Norte extends its sincere appreciation to BFAR Region I and the Laoag CSWDO for their continued partnership in promoting inclusive and sustainable community development across the province.
