HEADLINE: 🚨 PUBLIC ADVISORY: BEWARE OF IMPERSONATION SCAMS 🚨
The Regional Trial Court, Laoag City, has been made aware of individuals impersonating judges and court personnel to defraud the public.
To protect yourself from these scams, please be guided by the following:
VERIFY ALL DOCUMENTS & CALLS: Do not trust unexpected calls, messages, or documents claiming to be from the court. Always verify their authenticity.
CHECK FOR SECURITY FEATURES: Official court documents contain the full court letterhead, official contact details, and may include control numbers or QR codes.
USE OFFICIAL CHANNELS: The courts will only call from official hotlines and email from official .gov.ph accounts. We will never use personal email addresses for official communications.
NO ACTION ON VERBAL ORDERS: The court will never demand payment or action based solely on a phone call or text message. Always require written confirmation.
