Mayor NURSIYA I. ISMAEL hereby declares an ACADEMIC BREAK at all levels for the last remaining days of the Holy Month of Ramadān, starting from April 19-20, 2023.

Let us use this break to observe religious practices in accordance to the last few days of the blessed month of Ramadān.

Classes resume on April 24, 2023.

WOMEN'S DAY CELEBRATION 2023

Municipality of Lantawan Celebrated the National Women's Month with the theme: "WE for Gender Equality & Inclusive Society", last March 21, 2023.

The activity was headed by the Municipal Mayor Nursiya I. Ismael, The Municipal Administratix Hja Tahira S. Ismael ,The MLGOO Amina O. Puyo, The District supervisor Sarha I. Ibrahim, The SK federation President Sherlyn K. Sappayani, The SB-Member Committee on Women-Honorable Kasey Suela, The BFP FO3 Lovelle Rondina and the Municipal Officials and Employees.

Ms. Fraiza J. Sali hosted the activity.

OIC-MSWDO/GAD-Focal Person Ms. Teresita R. Estrada, gave the opening remarks and Rationale. She mentioned that women's month is a time to celebrate the achievements of women.

HRMO/OIC-MCR Hja. Nurhuda H. Sajiran was tasked to acknowledge all the participants.

Ms. Sarrama M. Pansulani the alternate GAD-Focal Person gave a surprise number by searching the Best Dressed women for the day.

They also played Trivia games such as Q & A and bring me, winners won gifts and chocolates.

As a gesture of appreciation and recognition, Giving all the participants a Certificate and gifts.

Mayor Nursiya I. Ismael gave an intermission number together with the HRMO Hja. Nurhuda H. Sajiran.

Hja. Tahira S. Ismael the Municipal Administratix as a keynote speaker, She mentioned that women has a vital role in society and has a strong feeling than Men.

Ms. Elizabeth G. Estrada the OIC-Municipal Assessor ended the celebration with a touching message.
