Ms. Efiginia B. In-uyay, School Principal, and Ms. Sonia L. Lonez,Master Teacher, received the award at the Saber Inn Restaurant in Bayombong,Nueva Vizcaya during the Apngahan di Munpun-ngunuh SDO Ifugao:Mapemanan on December 1, 2025.

This reflects the school's consistent efforts in upholding DepEd's standards and deliver programs that support learners development and community engagement.

Lawig NHS express it's gratitude for the support of teachers,learners, parents and stakeholders who contributed to achieving this milestone.

Lawig NHS attends District Teachers Day Celeb

First District Teacher's Day was attended by faculty and staff of Lawig NHS today at Lamut Central School Gymnasium,Lamut,Ifugao.

In the message of Hon. Brix Paul Chaguile, represented by Hon.Edgar Tapo, he emphasized the significant roles of teachers in shaping the lives of students and their dedication to their profession. Mr. Tapo also shared about his full support to education as one of the councilors of the Municipality.

Meanwhile, Hon.Jaweh Habbiling,Board Member, shared about his life changing experiences because of terror teachers and informing youths/students of their rights and responsibilities to avoid blames on teachers whenever he has a talk.

Further, words of God was shared by Sir Joel Bodah emphasizing salvation, health, family and work as a form of worship to the Lord.

Moreover, one of the highlights of the celebration is the awarding of certificates for district search where Lawig NHS landed first place in secondary category. It will further represent the division of Ifugao in the Regional level in the search for best secondary school.

Also, four teachers namely Eloisa Dulinayan, Revely Domdom, Dominga Viloria, and Helen Aydinan were awarded the most punctual teachers by WATCH committee led by Sir Aurelio R. Taberna.

Further, the coordinatorship of Ms. Efiginia B. In-uyay and Mr. Manuel O. Taguiling as Science District Coordinator and Phil-IRI District Coordinator for both English and Filipino were recognized.

In addition, the school won a cash prize for the most numbered participants in the presentation per school. Ms. Revely Domdom also was picked luckily in the raffle draw winning an Epson Printer. Other teachers also were awarded consolation prizes like flower vase, fabric conditioner and so forth.

Our gratitude to PLGU for the funds used, to PSDS Marlyn T. Lupai for the initiative, and to all the people involved in the planning and ex*****on of the program that made it worthwhile. Happy World Teachers' Day #

𝐑𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐒𝐃𝐎 𝐓𝐞𝐚𝐦 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐬 𝐀𝐃𝐌 𝐕𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐭 𝐋𝐚𝐰𝐢𝐠 𝐍𝐇𝐒
A validating team from the Department of Education Region and the Schools Division Office (SDO) Ifugao visited Lawig National High School on September 30, 2025 for Alternative Delivery Mode (ADM) validation.

The regional office was represented by Ms. Marjory Valdez, while the SDO was represented by Education Program Supervisor Imelda Licyag, Senior Education Program Specialist Cecil Kitong, and Public Schools District Supervisor Marlyn Lupai.

The visit aimed to provide technical assistance on ADM implementation to reduce failures and dropouts and to improve documentation. #

𝐋𝐚𝐦𝐮𝐭 𝐄𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐌𝐨𝐯𝐞: 𝐒𝐮𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐓𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐫'𝐬 𝐆𝐫𝐨𝐰𝐭𝐡 𝐚𝐭 𝐋𝐚𝐰𝐢𝐠 𝐍𝐇𝐒

LAMUT, Ifugao – Eight school principals and head teachers from secondary schools in the municipality conducted a half-day classroom observation at Lawig National High School to help improve teaching practices and student learning outcomes.

The observation, held today, covered 33 teachers from Grades 7 to 12. Observers were simultaneously assigned to different classrooms to ensure that all teachers were assessed within the half-day period.

The activity, which forms part of the technical assistance of school heads, focused on lesson planning, delivery, mastery, teaching strategies, classroom management, and assessment practices.

A post-conference was conducted during lunchtime where the observers presented commendable teaching practices and identified areas for improvement. The session aimed to support teachers’ professional growth and enhance instructional quality at the school.

Education leaders said the initiative demonstrates their commitment to strengthen teacher capacity and improve student learning experiences in Lamut. #

In cases where there is no typhoon signal or only Signal No. 1, but your barangay, municipality, or province is experiencing heavy rainfall, coordination with the Local Chief Executive (LCE) is essential in determining whether to suspend face-to-face classes.

Teachers should always be prepared for possible class suspensions by providing students with appropriate take-home learning tasks.
