Assalamualaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuhu!
As member of the Bangsamoro Transition Authority-Parliament and as servant of the Bangsamoro people particularly among the M**F members of the Parliament. I affirm my continued recognition and respect for the leadership of the M**F Chairman and former Chief Minister Ahod โAl-haj โMuradโ B. Ebrahim and his successor Abdulraof Macacua, who is also serves as M**F-BIAF Chief of Staff.
They are our leaders, and our support for the M**F-BIAF remained firm and hope, I may not be misunderstood as a departure from our ranks. However, such support is guided by principled appreciations, proper qualifications, and sound justification to ensure that our decisions remain aligned with fairness, good governance, and the true interest of the Bangsamoro.
My foremost duty is to serve the Bangsamoro people with integrity, fairness, and respect for our institution โthe BARMMโ as a product of decades of struggle and more or less 17 years of negotiations and our shared struggle for the right to self-determination.
(1) In this spirit, I believe in upholding the legitimacy of our current Bangsamoro government and leadership entrusted with carrying out the Transition, supporting institution process and lawful leadership is essential for stability as we move closer to fully functioning Parliament system In Sha Allah.
(2) My vote in favor of the BTA Bill No. 415, the proposed Re-districting Law, was anchored on the welfare and representation of my constituents particularly Lamitan City, being a component and harmonious city and met already the number population to be qualified as one (1) Parliamentary district seat as stipulated in the Bangsamoro Organic Law.
(3) Being a UBJP Focal Person for Lamitan City, I established the UBJP Sub-Office therein to independently identify and where my Deputy Base Commander under Guerilla Warfare of the M**F-BIAF 114th is residing, and likewise a resident of the CCCH member and Basilan Provincial Coordinator Hadji Samad Atain, where they preferred to be Lone Parliamentary district without mixing and interference with people from outside of the city, thus: allowing them to freely exercise their constitutional duty of suffrage.
(4) I continue to hold deep respect for the history, sacrifices, and leadership that brought as to where we are today. Our movement has always been built on consultation (Shuorah), unity, and collective decision-making. Differences in view on governance matters and should strengthen not weaken-our shared commitment to the Bangsamoro cause.
Finally, I remain steadfast in my loyalty to the principles of the Bangsamoro struggle; just governance, moral leadership, and the protection of our peopleโs rights and identity. My actions in Parliament are guided not by personalities, material things but ultimately by what I sincerely believe will help preserve our gains, strengthen our institution and secure a better future for the Bangsamoro.
Our journey has always required balance, patience, and unity despite differing perspective. Therefore, I remain committed to working with all our leaders and stakeholders in the spirit of mutual respect and common good In Sha Allah.
Shukran and Wassalam!
Yours truly,
