The third edition of Likha brings together 87 emerging and established weavers, designers, and artisans from across the archipelago in a vibrant exhibition that celebrates craft and creativity. The show seeks to forge connections that will keep the tapestry of Philippine traditional art alive.

A special section is dedicated to GAMABA awardees and their legacy of craft. Among those gracing the opening were Mandaya weaver Samporonia Madanlo, Tboli brass caster Bundos Fara, and the 99-year old Inabel weaver Magdalena Gamayo.

Some of the must-see exhibits of Likha include the black capiz flower ornaments from Iloilo, colorful geometric Jama Mapun mats woven from pandan leaves, Paete woodcarving, silver pukpuk carosas from Pampanga, the knife smiths of Cebu and Palawan, and bobbin lace making and embroidery from Iloilo.

Likha will run until June 11 at the PICC Forum.
