PESO Laguindingan Advances Local Employment Initiatives at CTEC Forum and 5th Provincial Monthly Meeting
​ To further strengthen labor market networks and optimize employment facilitation across the province, Public Employment Service Office (PESO) Manager Designated Harold Loui B. Egama of LGU Laguindingan actively participated in the high-level CTEC Forum and an afternoon 5th PESO Monthly Meeting held recently in El Salvador City.
​The strategic gathering was well-attended by key government leaders and employment stakeholders, including:

LAGUINDINGAN, MISAMIS ORIENTAL
In a steadfast commitment to ensuring high-quality experiential learning, Ms. Analiza Ramoso, the Programme Head of the Bachelor of Science in Office Administration (BSOA) at the City College of El Salvador (CCES), conducted an official field monitoring visit to BSOA interns currently deployed at the Local Government Unit of Laguindingan. The institutional visit was warmly embraced by Honorable Mayor Atty. Roy I. Macua, who graciously accepted the interns into the LGU, expressing his strong support for youth development and programs that prepare students for productive careers in public service and governance.
During the visit, Ms. Ramoso was entertained by Public Employment Service Office (PESO) Manager Designate Harold Loui B. Egama, MBA, who serves as the Supervisor Head of the Internship Program in LGU Laguindingan. The dialogue between the academic leader and the LGU team focused on evaluating the interns' performance, technical competencies, and professional adaptation. Mr. Egama provided highly satisfactory feedback regarding the students' work ethic, proactivity, and seamless integration into the administrative workflows of the municipality, underscoring the successful partnership between CCES and LGU Laguindingan in molding the next generation of office professionals.

The Gasi Overseas Filipino Worker (OFW) Association, an accredited by both the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) and as a Civil Society Organization (CSO in Laguindingan, actively participated in the Bayanihan para sa Balikbayans Manggagawa: A National Reintegration Network Fair held at the Cagayan de Oro City Hall though the Department of Migrant Woker (DMW) . Led by Mr. Roel Bagas, the delegation’s attendance was made possible through the unwavering support of Hon. Atty. Roy I. Macua, who demonstrated a strong commitment to the welfare of these modern-day heroes by providing vital transportation assistance for the event. This collective effort highlighted the community's dedication to empowering returning workers, bridging the gap between local leaders and grassroots organizations to effectively connect OFWs with the essential reintegration programs, livelihood opportunities, and support networks crucial for their transition back to the local economy.
