The Regional Training Center Misamis Oriental actively took part in the Simultaneous Signing of Undertaking for the Non‑Use of Dangerous Drugs, in support of the Philippine Coast Guard “Zero Drug” Policy 2026. The activity was held on 25 May 2026 at RTC Misamis Oriental, Purok 5, Siculon, Barangay Mauswagon, Laguindingan, Misamis Oriental.

As uniformed personnel of the Philippine Coast Guard, we remain steadfast in upholding this policy by fostering strict discipline, high professionalism, and a fully drug‑free workplace. We affirm that refraining from the use of dangerous substances is not merely a legal requirement, but a fundamental moral duty one that protects the safety, integrity, and operational readiness of every member committed to serving the nation. Through this undertaking, we reaffirm our collective resolve to maintain a disciplined organization firmly anchored on the core values of honor, integrity, and public trust.

Guided by constant awareness, self‑discipline, and accountability, we further strengthen our commitment to protect lives and preserve the confidence of the public we serve. The Regional Training Center Misamis Oriental actively participated in the 2nd Quarter Physical Fitness Test (PFT) for FY 2026 today at Headquarters Coast Guard District Northern Mindanao, Purok 5, Siculon, Brgy. Mauswagon, Laguindingan, Misamis Oriental.

Through teamwork, determination, and dedication, every participant demonstrated the importance of physical fitness in carrying out our duties with excellence and integrity.

More than just a requirement, this test reinforces our commitment to maintaining a high standard of fitness, ensuring that we are always ready to respond to any challenge, mission, or emergency with excellence and integrity. We remain steadfast in our goal to build a stronger, healthier, and more competent workforce, fully prepared to serve the Filipino people and fulfill our duties as members of the Philippine Coast Guard.

𝐄𝐍𝐒 𝐁𝐈𝐋𝐋𝐘 𝐉𝐎𝐄𝐋 𝐌 𝐃𝐔𝐑𝐀𝐍 𝐏𝐂𝐆 and members of Surveillance and Intelligence Division conducted TI & E on Security Awareness to RTCMO personnel at HCHGDNM Function Hall on May 14, 2026. The discussion emphasized the importance of maintaining alertness, observing proper security protocols, and practicing responsible handling of sensitive information within and outside the workplace.

Likewise, SN1 Kent A Layson PCG conducted TI & E on Drill Regulations Manual to RTCMO Drill Instructors. The activity aimed to enhance the knowledge, discipline, and proficiency of Drill Instructors in the proper ex*****on of Coast Guard Drill and Ceremonies in accordance with established Coast Guard standards and protocols.

Overall, the conduct of the said activities strengthened the awareness, preparedness, and professional competence of RTCMO personnel and Drill Instructors. These initiatives reflect the commitment of the Regional Training Center Misamis Oriental in continuously promoting discipline, security consciousness, and operational excellence among Philippine Coast Guard personnel.

Following the said ceremony, RTC personnel immediately proceeded to Ranks and Barracks Inspection conducted by Chief Petty Officer Alkaizer S Saddari PCG, Chief Master-at-Arms, RTC Misamis Oriental. This activity is a vital component of maintaining PCG discipline and professionalism within the training center. It ensures that personnel are in proper uniform, adhere to grooming standards, and uphold the highest level of personal appearance expected of Coast Guard members.

Moreover, the barracks inspection underscores the importance of cleanliness, orderliness, and proper maintenance of living quarters. By regularly conducting such inspections, the Center promotes accountability, attention to detail, and a culture of excellence among trainees and staff alike.
