3. 🏠 Preparedness Measures
A. Household Level
• Store safe drinking water and ration usage
• Keep homes well-ventilated; use curtains/blinds to reduce heat
• Prepare emergency kits (water, first aid, flashlight)
• Avoid outdoor activities during peak heat hours
B. Community / Barangay Level
• Activate Barangay DRRM Committees for monitoring
• Identify and prepare cooling centers or shaded evacuation areas
• Conduct information drives on heat safety and fire prevention
• Ensure fire-fighting equipment is accessible
C. Health & Safety
• Drink plenty of water; avoid alcohol and sugary drinks
