The Provincial Government of Abra announces the suspension of classes at all levels, in both public and private schools, and work in all government offices throughout the province tomorrow, August 6, 2026 (Thursday).

The suspension of government work does not cover offices and personnel performing essential, emergency, healthcare, disaster response, and other services whose functions require continuous operations.

For private establishments, work suspension shall be at the discretion of their respective employers.

Everyone is advised to stay safe, remain vigilant, and continue monitoring official advisories.

📚 Learning Never Stops

Although face-to-face classes were suspended today, learning continues at our school through the implementation of our Learning and Service Continuity Plan (LSCP).

Under the leadership of our School Head, Sir Jayfee G. Calubing, Head Teacher I, the school has been preparing for situations like this by ensuring that printed Learning Resources (LRs) are distributed every Friday. This allows our learners to continue studying at home whenever classes are suspended due to bad weather or other emergencies.

Our teachers remain committed to supporting every learner by keeping in touch with parents and guardians, monitoring learners' progress, and providing the guidance they need while learning from home.

We sincerely thank our parents and guardians for their continued cooperation and support. Your partnership plays an important role in helping our children continue learning, even outside the classroom.

Together, we prove that challenges may interrupt classes, but they will never stop learning.

Our School Intramurals 2026 has officially come to a successful close. In just one day, our learners showcased not only their athletic talents but also the values of discipline, respect, determination, and camaraderie.

Congratulations to all the participants, winners, coaches, teachers, parents, brgy. officials and stakeholders who made this event a memorable and meaningful celebration. Your enthusiasm, cooperation, and unwavering support contributed to the success of our one-day intramurals.

Today, the teaching and non-teaching personnel of Bacooc Elementary School participated in a short meeting spearheaded by Sir Jayfee Calubing, Head Teacher I, to discuss important school matters and activities for the current quarter.

The meeting covered key agenda items, including wellness leave concerns, the culmination of school programs and activities, the administration of summative and written tests, the Review of the Learning and School Continuity Plan (LSCP), the enhancement of School Library/School Learning Resource Center (SLRC), and other concerns related to learners' performance and classroom activities.

Through the guidance of Sir Jayfee and the active participation of both teaching and non-teaching personnel, the school continues to strengthen collaboration, improve school programs, and uphold its commitment to providing quality education and a supportive learning environment for every learner.

Together, we move forward with one vision, one mission, and one commitment to excellence. 💙📚

Despite Typhoon Kiyapo and the province-wide power outage, face-to-face classes continued as scheduled to ensure the continuity of learning and the achievement of academic objectives.

Under the leadership of our School Head, Sir Jayfee G. Calubing, Head Teacher I, the school closely monitored weather conditions and implemented appropriate safety measures to safeguard learners, teaching, and non-teaching personnel.

The school remained prepared to immediately comply with any official announcements from the authorities regarding class suspensions or other emergency measures should weather conditions worsen.
