YESTERDAY I In a fervent bid to elevate the standard of journalism within the LALABALICMA District, teachers and educational leaders gathered at the Lagangilang Central School's Multi-functional Hall for an immersive two-day training event. Culminating under the theme "Bridging LALABALICMA District as One in Embracing the Challenges and Opportunities of the 2024 DSPC," participants converged with a shared ambition to refine their journalistic skills and confront the upcoming Division Schools Press Conference (DSPC) with confidence and proficiency.
The training covered an array of journalistic disciplines, spanning from news writing, feature composition, editorial cartooning, photojournalism, to broadcasting techniques. Guided by esteemed District Coordinators, Sir Rico Tubadeza Jr.,Principal II and Ma'am Anicia Bersalona, Principal I, the importance of upholding quality journalism in the contemporary landscape was underscored throughout the sessions.
Sir Rico Tubadeza Jr., in his message, imparted, "Let this endeavor propel you into the uplands. Let your schools' voices resonate. There may be moments where your resolve is tested, where your tires wear thin. But replace them with renewed passion, commitment, and integrity.
