Mag Biogas na tayo ka-dat-bee...

𝐍𝐚𝐛𝐮𝐛𝐮𝐥𝐨𝐤 𝐧𝐚 𝐛𝐚𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐚, 𝐩𝐰𝐞𝐝𝐞 𝐩𝐚𝐥𝐚 𝐦𝐚𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐛𝐢𝐨𝐠𝐚𝐬? ♻️🔥

Sa panahon ngayon na pabago-bago at mataas ang presyo ng LPG at kuryente, malaking tulong ang biogas - isang abot kaya at environment-friendly alternative source of energy. ⛽️⚡️

Hindi mo na kailangan umasa sa uling o kahoy na panggatong para makatipid sa LPG at kuryente dahil gamit ang mga nabubulok na basura tulad ng kitchen waste , dumi ng hayop, agricultural waste, slaughterhouse waste, at maging dumi ng tao ay maaari ka nang makagawa ng biogas na pwedeng gamitin sa pagluluto at pang-ilaw. Nakakabuo rin ito ng sludge na ginagamit bilang organikong pampataba ng lupa. 🌾🌱

Ito ay sa tulong ng 𝐏𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐁𝐢𝐨𝐠𝐚𝐬 𝐃𝐢𝐠𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫 - isang makabagong teknolohiya na madaling gawin, ikabit, at ilipat kaya pwedeng gamitin sa iba’t ibang lugar at maliliit na kabahayan. Ang teknolohiyang ito ay mula sa Department of Science and Technology – Industrial Technology Development Institute
(DOST-ITDI).

Noon pa man, sinusuportahan na talaga ng DOST ang mga teknolohiyang nakakatulong sa kalikasan. 🌏♻️

Kadalasan, ang mga di nabubulok na basura lang ang naiisip nating i-recycle pero ngayon pati ang mga nabubulok na basura ay napapakinabangan na rin. ✨

Kapag inaalagaan natin ang kalikasan, tayo rin ang nakikinabang. 💚

𝐇𝐀𝐏𝐏𝐄𝐍𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐍𝐎𝐖: The Technology Transfer and Promotion Division (TTPD) of DOST PCAARRD commences the second batch of the 5-day training-workshop on design thinking and its applications, circular economy, and sustainability in collaboration with the Design Center of the Philippines (DCP) today, May 4, 2026 at the Benilde Hub of Innovation for Inclusion (Benilde HIFI), Malate, Manila.

The Designing Interventions to Strengthen ENterprises and Yield Opportunities (DISENYO) project aims to address the design-related needs of the 25 Agri-Aqua Technology Business Incubators (ATBI) of DOST-PCAARRD.

TTPD Dir. Noel A. Catibog in his welcome remarks expresses his gratitude to DCP for the opportunity of holding an activity like this, as it is crucial in promoting and commercializing products and technologies.

Ms. Peachy Pacquing, design thinking consultant and learning experience designer, is the lead resource person of the workshop.

𝐃𝐌𝐌𝐌𝐒𝐔 𝐀𝐓𝐁𝐈 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠: 𝐄𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐥𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐀𝐜𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 & 𝐁𝐨𝐨𝐤𝐤𝐞𝐞𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐠, 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐏𝐢𝐭𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐧 𝐁𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭

The Don Mariano Marcos Memorial State University – Agri-Aqua Technology Business Incubator (DMMMSU-ATBI) held a three-day training on Basic Accounting and Bookkeeping, Business Planning, and Business Pitching for newly registered incubatees on April 6–8, 2026, at DMMMSU-NLUC, Bacnotan, La Union.

The program aimed to equip incubatees with essential skills in managing, developing, and presenting business ideas, in line with ATBI’s mission of supporting startups through technical assistance and resources.

The opening program featured a message from Prof. Victoria N. Malaya, ATBI Project Leader, delivered by Ms. Eden P. Borce, Project Technical Specialist III, who also oriented participants on the training activities.

On Day 1, Ms. Wamie E. Cacayuran facilitated a lecture on Accounting and Bookkeeping, covering fundamental principles, transaction recording, and financial statement preparation, followed by a writeshop for practical application.

Day 2 focused on Business Pitching, led by Ms. Eden P. Borce, who introduced strategies for effective presentations. The session culminated in a Business Pitch Presentation where participants showcased their outputs.

On the final day, Dr. Aphril ESJ M. Jayme and Dr. Venelyn L. Bersamira facilitated sessions on Business Planning and the Business Model Canvas, guiding participants in developing structured business plans and models.

The training concluded with the awarding of certificates and closing remarks by Prof. Victoria N. Malaya.

This initiative underscores DMMMSU-ATBI’s commitment to nurturing innovation and empowering entrepreneurs through capacity-building programs that foster sustainable enterprise development.
