In support of environmental conservation and sustainable development, La Trinidad District Jail โ€“ Female Dormitory participated in the Ceremonial Tree Planting Activity held at the proposed Benguet Eco-Tourism Park in Sitio Upper Wangal, La Trinidad, Benguet. Led by the Acting District Jail Warden, SJO4 Caroline C Chelnag, the Acting District Jail Warden, planted a Balate Tree (Ficus benjamina) as a symbol of their commitment to environmental stewardship and the preservation of natural resources for future generations.

The activity formed part of the Province of Benguetโ€™s observance of Arbor Day, reinforcing the importance of collective action in protecting the environment and promoting a greener, healthier, and more sustainable community.

In support of Brigada Eskwela 2026 with the theme โ€œBayanihan para sa Ligtas, Malinis at Matatag na Paaralan,โ€ La Trinidad District Jail โ€“ Female Dormitory, led by SJO4 Caroline C Chelnag, Acting District Jail Warden, joined parents, volunteers, and other stakeholders at Cordillera Regional Science High School in a spirit of unity and volunteerism.

As part of the activity, personnel participated in the repainting of classroom walls to help create a cleaner, brighter, and more conducive learning environment for students and teachers. Through this simple yet meaningful act of service, the unit reaffirmed its commitment to community development, quality education, and the Filipino tradition of bayanihan.

Sa pamamagitan ng boluntaryong paggawa, pagtutulungan, at pakikilahok sa mga gawaing pampaaralan, nakatulong ang mga kawani sa paghahanda ng isang ligtas, malinis, at maayos na kapaligiran para sa mga mag-aaral ng Buyagan Elementary School.

Patunay ito na ang serbisyo ng BJMP ay hindi lamang nakatuon sa loob ng piitan kundi umaabot din sa mga programang naglalayong hubugin ang mas magandang kinabukasan para sa kabataan at sa buong pamayanan.

La Trinidad District Jail โ€“ Female Dormitory, under the leadership of SJO4 Caroline C Chelnag, Acting District Jail Warden, conducted an Information Drive aimed at enhancing awareness on health education and the National Task Force to End Local Communist Armed Conflict (NTF-ELCAC) through Executive Order No. 70.

The activity provided participants with valuable information on maintaining good health, adopting healthy lifestyle practices, and understanding the importance of informed decision-making. Discussions also highlighted the government's whole-of-nation approach in promoting peace, security, community development, and resilience against misinformation and violent extremism. Through continuous education and awareness initiatives, the activity fostered responsible citizenship, public safety, and personal well-being.

In observance of International Thyroid Awareness Week, JO2 Meya B Laban, Jail Nurse of the La Trinidad District Jail โ€“ Female Dormitory, conducted health education sessions for female Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDLs) and personnel of the unit to promote awareness on thyroid health and wellness. The discussions focused on common thyroid disorders, signs and symptoms, prevention, early detection, and the importance of seeking proper medical consultation.

The activity also emphasized the value of maintaining proper nutrition, healthy lifestyle practices, stress management, and regular health monitoring to support overall well-being and encourage proactive healthcare awareness within the facility.
