LTDJ-MD Personnel Share Insights in Learnersโ€™ Rights and Protection on Wheels Seminar

Personnel from the La Trinidad District Jail โ€“ Male Dormitory (LTDJ-MD) served as resource speakers in the Learnersโ€™ Rights and Protection on Wheels Seminar held at Calajo Food House, Km 6, La Trinidad, Benguet, attended by students from Benguet National High School.

Through the engaging session facilitated by SJO2 Kimpa-oy, JO1 Lid-ayan, and JO1 Man-a, participants gained valuable insights on life behind bars, making wise choices, second chances, and the importance of law-abiding citizenship.

The activity successfully promoted awareness among learners about their rights, responsibilities, and well-being, highlighting the Bureauโ€™s continuing commitment to education, advocacy, and youth empowerment within the community.

La Trinidad District Jailโ€“Male Dormitory (LTDJ-MD), together with interns from Saint Louis University (SLU) and Cordillera Career Development College (CCDC), conducted a meaningful community outreach at the Kesbeng Child Development Center. ๐Ÿ’™

Continued Commitment to Community Service and Disaster Preparedness.

La Trinidad District Jail - Male Dormiotry personnel extended their support to the community by conducting clearing operations along Kesbeng Road, Barangay Poblacion, La Trinidad, Benguet, following a landslide caused by Super Typhoon โ€œNando.โ€ Using shovels and sacks, participants collected eroded soil and built a makeshift wall to prevent further soil erosion showcasing their commitment to disaster response and community safety.

In partnership with LTDJ-FD, LTMJ, MENRO, and LGU-La Trinidad, personnel of La Trinidad District Jail-Male Dormitory actively took part in cleaning Balili River as part of the 40th International Coastal Clean-Up Day with the theme โ€œTurning the Tide on Ocean Trash and .โ€

Their united efforts gathered 10 sacks of garbage, contributing to the rehabilitation of the river and highlighting the power of collective action in protecting the environment for future generations.
