LTCS Learners Shine in Regional Festival of Talents, Dolinen Advances to Nationals!
Learners from La Trinidad Central School (LTCS) proudly represented Benguet in the recently concluded Regional Festival of Talents (RFOT) and Regional Schools Press Conference (RSPC) held in Tadian, Moutain Province last March 30 – April 2, showcasing their exceptional skills and bringing home accolades in various competitions.
In the RFOT, young storyteller Ziarie Claire Labi proved her prowess in the Storytelling Competition, securing third place. Her compelling performance highlighted her fluency and creativity, making LTCS and Benguet proud.
Meanwhile, Czarina Finn B. Dolinen, a Grade 6 learner, achieved a remarkable back-to-back championship in the Pagguhit ng Kartung Pangtudling (Editorial Cartooning). Her consecutive victories solidified her as one of the best young editorial cartoonists in the region. She will advance to the National Schools Press Conference (NSPC), where she aims to continue her winning streak and bring honor to Benguet.
Adding to LTCS’s triumphs, Xylei Faye T. Bolide, another Grade 6 student, displayed her photographic talent and won third place in Pagkuha ng Larawan (Photojournalism). Her ability to capture compelling images earned her recognition among the best in the region. Gabrielle Iris C. Esteban, also a Grade 6 student, exhibited excellence in Science and Technology writing, securing fourth place in her category.
Recognizing also the RSPC qualifiers, Farrah L. Angayen (Grade 6) and Princess Dhanzel B. Belly (Grade 5) as they sharpened their pens and performed in their respective events.
The achievements of these LTCS learners serve as an inspiration to their fellow students, proving that with passion, perseverance, and dedication, excellence is always within reach.

"The Pine Breeze Soars to Victory: LTCS Wins Overall Champion at Division Schools Press Conference!"
The Pine Breeze, the official English publication of La Trinidad Central School (LTCS), etched its name in history as it clinched the Overall Champion title during the Division Schools Press Conference (DSPC) held at Paoad Elementary School, Tublay, Benguet, on January 29-31.
Competing against the best young journalists from various schools in the division, The Pine Breeze team held their pen and showcased excellence in various categories, including news writing, feature writing, editorial writing, sports writing, column writing, science and technology writing, copyreading and headline writing, photojournalism, editorial cartooning, collaborative publishing and radio broadcasting. Their collective hard work, dedication, and passion for campus journalism paved the way for this remarkable achievement.
LTCS’s strong performance not only highlights the talent and commitment of its young writers but also reflects the unwavering support of the school administration, advisers, and mentors guided them throughout the competition. LTCS Dominates Division Read-A-Thon; Labi Set to Conquer Regionals!
La Trinidad Central School (LTCS) once again proved its excellence in literacy as it clinched top honors in the Division Readathon held at LTCS on March 15.
Ziarie Clair D. Labi (Grade 3) emerged as the champion in the Story Retelling Category, marking a back-to-back victory for LTCS in the competition. Her win not only highlights her storytelling skills but also reinforces Cordilleran excellence on the national stage. With this achievement, Labi will represent Benguet in the Regional Festival of Talents in Tadian, Mountain Province slated on March 30 to April 2.
Meanwhile, Louriz Dainiel P. Arzadon (Grade 6) secured third place in the Story Resolution Challenge, a newly introduced category in the Read-A-thon. Her strong performance showcased his ability to analyze and creatively resolve literary conflicts, proving the depth of LTCS learners' literary skills.
The school's continued dominance in the Read-A-thon is a testament to its commitment to fostering reading comprehension, creativity, and storytelling excellence. With Labi advancing to the regional level, LTCS is set to shine once again in the field of literary arts

LTCS Nightingales Hit the High Notes, Defend Title at Division MAPEH Festival!
The LTCS Nightingales soared to victory once again, securing the championship title in the Quartet Competition during the Division MAPEH Festival of Talents held at GBDAIS, Balakbak, Kapangan, Benguet on March 9-11.
The quartet, composed of Janelle Azrene C. Luis (Grade 6), Andrry-Leana M. Tico-an (Grade 5), Janford P. Becya (Grade 5), and Eliamjoe T. Saguingao (Grade 5) with the guidance of their coach Ma’am Delma Saturno and Trainor RB Redge Pal-iwen, showcased exceptional vocal harmony and stage presence, earning them the back-to-back championship title. Representing the district of La Trinidad, the young singers delivered a breathtaking performance that impressed the judges and audience alike.
Their triumph marks another milestone for LTCS, following their sweeping victory last year, where they claimed the championship title in the district, division, and regional levels, eventually representing the Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR) in the national competition.
The LTCS Nightingales' consecutive victories highlight not only their talent but also the school’s commitment to excellence in music and performing arts. Their latest win solidifies their reputation as a dominant force in choral competitions within the province.

LTCS Arnisadoras Conquer the 2025 CARAA Meet with Blades of Glory!
The La Trinidad Central School (LTCS) Arnisadoras displayed exceptional skill and dominance during the 2025 Cordillera Administrative Region Athletic Association (CARAA) Meet, held from February 24-26 at Tublay School of Home Industries (TSHI). Their remarkable performances earned them multiple medals, bringing pride to their school and community.
Jhen Chloe S. Berato showcased her prowess in the individual events, clinching a gold medal in the single weapon category and a silver medal in the sword and dagger category. Additionally, Berato also teamed up with Zuriel C. Taypoc of Itogon in snagging silver in the mixed doubles category. Meanwhile, Farrah L. Angayen proved her strength in the individual double baston category, securing a silver medal.
The LTCS Arnisadoras also dominated the team events, with Berato, Angayen, and Louriz Dainiel P. Arzadon securing multiple victories:

LTCS Dancers Groove Their Way to Palarong Pambansa!
The La Trinidad Central School (LTCS) dance athletes delivered an outstanding performance during the 2025 Cordillera Administrative Region Athletic Association (CARAA) Meet , bringing home multiple medals and earning a spot in the Palarong Pambansa later this year.
Dynamic duo John Arzel P. Perez and Keziah Kendra P. Roxas dominated the standard category, capturing an impressive five gold medals and one silver booking them to the national stage. Meanwhile, Zi Azenor Bahingawan and Zylan Jeof Porter showcased their skill and grace earning them six silver medals in the Latin category.
Under the guidance of their dedicated coach, Sharia O. Pitas, LTCS dancesport team showcased their exceptional talent, discipline, and teamwork on the dance floor, impressing both judges and spectators. Their victory not only brings pride to LTCS but also highlights the school's strong commitment to developing young athletes in the field of dance sports.
With their remarkable performance at the CARAA Meet, Perez and Roxas now set their sights on the Palarong Pambansa, where they will represent the Cordillera region against the country's best young dancers. Their journey to the national stage is a testament to their hard work, passion, and determination to excel in dancesports.

LTCS Tankers Aguilar, Fallorin Torpedo Their Way to Palarong Pambansa!
Two standout swimmers from La Trinidad Central School (LTCS) made waves in their respective events during the CARAA Meet held in Benguet Aquatic Center last February 24 - 27, securing their spots in the prestigious Palarong Pambansa set later this year.
Lourd Ezrich Aguilar and Tyler Cael Fallorin delivered stellar performances, not only clinching multiple medals but also surpassing their previous records to qualify for the national meet.
Aguilar dominated the 100m backstroke, claiming the gold medal, while also securing silver in the 50m backstroke and bronze in the 200m freestyle. He further contributed to Benguet's medal haul with silver finishes in the 4x50m medley relay and 4x100m freestyle relay.
Meanwhile, Fallorin showcased his versatility in both breaststroke and freestyle events. He clinched the gold in the 100m breaststroke, silver in the 50m freestyle, and bronze in the 50m breaststroke. His efforts also helped Benguet secure silver medals in the 4x50m and 4x100m medley relay.
With their impressive finishes and improved times, Aguilar and Fallorin have earned their places in the Palarong Pambansa, where they will represent the region against the best young swimmers in the country. Their qualification marks a significant achievement for LTCS, further solidifying the school's reputation for producing top-tier athletes.
As they prepare for the national stage, both swimmers are expected to intensify their training, aiming to bring home more medals and make their school and province proud.

LTCS Crowned Overall Champion in Benguet Division Schools Press Conference
La Trinidad Central School (LTCS) emerged as the Overall Champion in the recently concluded Benguet Division Schools Press Conference (DSPC) held in Paoad Elementary School, Acop, Tublay on January 29 to 31.
LTCS dominated the competition by securing First Place as Best Performing Elementary School in both Group and Individual Categories. Additionally, the school claimed Second Place for Best Elementary School Paper (English Medium).
Young writers from LTCS snags the following top spots:
