Today, we honor the courage and sacrifice of those who fought for our freedom. Yet independence is more than a date we commemorate. It is a duty we uphold.

As we celebrate 128 years of freedom, may we also awaken to the realities of our nation today. Loving the Philippines means more than remembering our heroes. It means standing for truth, demanding accountability, and refusing to be indifferent to the challenges our people face.

The fight for a better nation did not end when our flag was first raised. It lives on in every citizen who chooses to care, speak up, and work for genuine change.
May we not only inherit freedom but also prove ourselves worthy of it.

Whether you are a Millennial or Gen Z, the weight of finals week is exactly the same. We might study differently, but we all face the same long nights and heavy workloads.

Two Generations, One Shared Goal! We are united by the drive to finish what we started. From physical textbooks to digital modules, our goal is to overcome the challenge and move one step closer to our dreams.

Congratulations, we made it! You should be proud of your persistence. We pushed through the stress and finished our exams. No matter our age, we share this victory together. It is finally time to rest.

Sa pagpasok ng ating Finals Week ngayong May 4-9, 2026, normal lang na maramdaman ang pressure mula sa nagpapatong-patong na academic requirements at deadlines.

Tandaan na ang bawat puyat at sakripisyo ay investment para sa ating kinabukasan bilang mga pre-service educators. Kahit gaano pa kahirap ang coverage ng exams, huwag hayaang mawala ang ating momentum.

Hawakan ang beat ng ating pagrereview nang may disiplina at tiwala sa sarili. Manatiling motivated dahil sa huli, ang a tingmga pangarap ang tunay na laman ng ating isip.

Shaping Future Educators for a Greener Tomorrow

The College of Teacher Education Student Government successfully conducted the SEGREGREAT: Waste Management Forum on April 13, 2026, at CTE Room 217.

The seminar featured Engr. Kevin P. Titiwa, Pollution Control Officer of Benguet State University, who shared valuable insights on proper waste management, environmental responsibility, and sustainable practices.

The activity was participated in by officers of various CTE Recognized Student Organizations (RSOs) and Income Generating Project (IGP) Implementors, strengthening collaboration and commitment toward a cleaner and more sustainable academic environment.

This initiative supports the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly:
• SDG 4 – Quality Education
• SDG 11 – Sustainable Cities and Communities
• SDG 12 – Responsible Consumption and Production
• SDG 13 – Climate Action

Organized by the CTE Student Government, the forum reflects the vital role of future educators in promoting environmental stewardship and sustainable development.

The College of Teacher Education Student Government successfully conducted the seminar “𝙎𝙏𝙀𝙋 𝙐𝙋: 𝙎𝙘𝙝𝙤𝙤𝙡 𝙏𝙧𝙖𝙞𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙤𝙣 𝙀𝙢𝙚𝙧𝙜𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙮 𝙋𝙧𝙚𝙥𝙖𝙧𝙚𝙙𝙣𝙚𝙨𝙨 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙐𝙥𝙨𝙠𝙞𝙡𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙤𝙛 𝙋𝙧𝙚-𝙎𝙚𝙧𝙫𝙞𝙘𝙚 𝙏𝙚𝙖𝙘𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙨” on April 8, 2026, at CTE 217.

This initiative aimed to equip future educators with essential knowledge and practical skills in emergency preparedness and professional development. Kahit hindi pa tayo graduate, starting early can really help us build the knowledge, strategies, and confidence we need as we move closer to becoming licensed professional teachers.

That’s why we invite you to join the STEPS to Success: Strategic Transition and Empowerment Webinar, which includes a tutorial session on the basics of BLEPT preparation. This session will guide us in understanding the BLEPT application process and PRC requirements, while also giving practical strategies to help us prepare and feel more confident as future educators.
