PYAP La Paz Chapter had the opportunity to reach out to the evacuees of La Paz by sharing snacks and organizing simple games for the children.

In the midst of a challenging situation, we hope these small moments brought comfort, laughter, and smiles to the children and families. We may not be able to change everything, but we can always choose to care, to share, and to bring a little joy. May every smile and every laugh remind us that kindness can make even a small difference. Because sometimes, a little kindness is all it takes to brighten someone’s day.❤️

Theme: Institutionalizing Empowered Leadership, Strengtheninh Governance & Advancing Development Pathways 🔥

With hearts full of passion, unity, and purpose, the Municipality of La Paz proudly showcased a dance presentation inspired by this year's theme, "Sustaining the Flame." Our performance symbolizes the enduring spirit of the youth keeping alive the flame of leadership, service, resilience, and hope for a brighter future. Together, we celebrate not only our talents but also our commitment to building stronger communities and empowering the next generation.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Hon. Mayor Venus Jordan for your unwavering support and encouragement to the youth of La Paz. Your dedication continues to inspire us to strive for excellence and meaningful community involvement.

Special thanks to our MSWD Officer Ma'am Eunice Dominique R. Ocampo-Driz for your patience, leadership, and tireless efforts in mentoring and preparing us throughout this journey. Your dedication has truly made this experience memorable and meaningful.

Every great meeting deserves great documentation! ✍️✨

Last May 06, 2026 the Tarlac Capitol Center (San Roque, Tarlac City) was buzzing with energy as our local youth took part in the Training on Proper Documentation and Taking Minutes of the Meeting.

Beyond just writing things down, these youth leaders learned how to accurately capture ideas, structure formal records, and ensure every voice in a meeting is properly accounted for. Leadership isn't just about speaking up—it's also about making sure the progress is documented right.

Kudos to all the participants who are leveling up their skills for better community service! 🚀

Day 3: Mission Accomplished! 🏆✨🎒
All good things must come to an end, but we are leaving better, stronger, and more united than when we arrived!

Last July 10, 2026 we marked the final day of our Empowerment Activity.

After a hearty breakfast, it was time to celebrate everyone’s hard work, grit, and creativity at the Awarding Ceremony! 🎖️👏 Big congratulations to all our winners and a massive salute to every single participant who pushed their limits over the past three days. You are all champions!

True to the spirit of leadership and community, we wrapped up our camp with a collective Clean-Up drive 🧹🌱, ensuring we left our campsite just as beautiful as we found it, before saying our final goodbyes and departing for home. 🚌👋

From the Amazing Race to the Bonfire space. Day 2 did not disappoint! 🏕️🏁

last july 09, 2026 was a test of leadership and ultimate unity! 🤝

Started with fierce team yells and flag presentations 🚩

Conquered an epic, station-based Amazing Race utilizing all our Day 1 first-aid skills! 🩹🏃‍♂️

Ended the night cozying up in our pajamas for a heartfelt bonfire and reflection ceremony. 🔥✨

Sweat was shed, laughs were shared, and memories were made. Bring on Day 3! 🪵💪

Day 1: Empowered, Equipped, and Ready! 🪵💪
Last July 08, 2026 the successful commencement of Day 1 of our Empowerment Activity, focusing on health, safety, and community resilience.

The program commenced with the Registration, National Anthem, and Opening Prayer, followed by an inspiring message from Ms. Eunice Dominique R. Ocampo-Driz, and a special visit and message from Mam Ibeth and our guests from Tarlac Province! 🇵🇭✨

The real action started with the MDRRMO team, who led an intensive First Aid & Life Saving Seminar. From mastering CPR basics and bandaging to disaster preparedness, everyone got hands-on experience during our simulation exercises.

But the day didn't stop there! Our participants shifted into high gear with:
⛺ Tent Set-Up challenges
🎨 Team Flag & Yell making
🔥 A spectacular talent presentation to wrap up the night!
Now, it’s lights off and time to recharge. Day 1 is officially in the books, and we are ready for what Day 2 has in store! 😴✨

Building a More Inclusive Tomorrow! 🤝

Yesterday, June 30, 2026, the Pag-asa Youth Association of the Philippines (PYAP) - La Paz Chapter proudly participated in the Disability Sensitivity Training held at the Roof Deck Hall 3, Tarlac Capitol Center, San Roque, Tarlac City.

As youth leaders, we believe that true progress starts with understanding, empathy, and inclusivity. Through this training, we gained valuable insights on how to better support, respect, and advocate for breaking barriers and creating equal opportunities for persons with disabilities (PWDs) in our community.
