Building a Brighter Future, One Word at a Time! 📚✨

Reading is the foundation of every dream. Through this initiative, we aim to sharpen the skills of our young students because we believe that education is the ultimate equalizer.

The Pag-asa Youth Association of the Philippines (PYAP) is proud to announce the success of Project PBB - PASA BASA BAYAN: Sursuro ti Ubing. This literacy and tutoring initiative, held from February to April 2026, focused on strengthening the foundational reading and learning skills of children aged 5 to 10 years old.

Our mission is simple: to make reading fun, accessible, and life-changing. When a child learns to read, they gain the power to change their world. 🌍

Every Big Dream Starts with a Single Step. 👣✨
Small Acts, Big Impact!🩴🌟

The PYAP La Paz Chapter successfully conducted its project, "Yapak ng Pangarap," with the theme: "Isang Hakbang para sa Kinabukasan ng Kabataan" last April 14-15, 2026.

Through our Slipper Giving and Feeding Program, we believe that no child should have to walk the path to their dreams with bare feet. By providing these slippers, we aren't just giving footwear—we are giving them the comfort and confidence to keep moving forward toward a brighter tomorrow.

"ASCEND FROM LEADER TO CHANGE - MAKERS"

More than just leaders-we are Change-Makers. ✊✨

Looking back at an incredible 2-day journey at the LYDC Leadership Camp 2026! Held last March 24-25 at 📍Theresa's Villas & Resort, Brgy. San Roque, we didn't just talk about leadership; we lived it. This year's theme, "ASCEND: From Leader to Change-Makers" challenged us to look beyond ourselves and see how we can truly impact our community.

From intense leadership sessions to the team-building challenges under the sun, every activity was a step toward becoming more responsible and cooperative. to the fun of overnight camping under the stars, every moment taught us the value of responsibility and grit. I've realized that being a leader isn't just about the title; it's about the heart you put into serving your team and the action we take.

The lessons I've gathered here are my fuel to move from being a leader in name to a Change-Maker in action.

Leaving with a sharper mind, a stronger heart, and a brand new family of fellow leaders. Ready to take these lessons back to our community!

"YEAR END PARTY PYAP LA PAZ"

Maligayang pagtatapos ng taon

Ginanap ang "Year End Party" ng PYAP La Paz bilang selebrasyon ng isang matagumpay na taon na puno ng aktibong programa at partisipasyon ng bawat miyembro nito.

Ang naturang program ay nagsimula sa isang panalangin na pinangunahin ng P.V. at President ng PYAP Lapurisima na si Aram Mijares at kasunod nito ang mensahe ng Treasurer at President ng Guevara na si Aljon De Guzman bilang pasasalamat sa mga dumalo, ang nagsilbing tagapagdaloy (host) na secretary at PYAP Presedent ng San Roque na si Danilo Diaz, at katuwang dito ang iba pang mga Presidents ng iba pang baranggay para sa maayos na programa.

Ang naturang programa ay kinagiliwan ng mga dumalo dahil sa mga palaro at premyo na kaniling natanggap na kanila namang magagamit sa kanilang tahanan.

Nakakatuwang isipin na isang taon na naman ang lumipas na nagtagumpay ang PYAP sa kanilang programa na maspagtitibayin at papaunlarin sa mga susunod pang mga taon. Ang mga kabataan ngayon ay hindi lang puro social media sila rin ay handang magserbisyo para sa kapwa kabataang na ngangailangan.

PYAP La Paz Chapter joined the Lakbay Aral led by the PYAP Tarlac Province Chapter in San Jose, Tarlac last December 22,2025.

The main advocacy of this project is to help in shaping individuals ,enhancing their perspectives and to unleash their full potentials. It can help them become a better citizen and build a better society.

Program Implementation Review 2025 & Online Sexual Abuse and Exploitation of Children (OSAEC) Orientation

Ang programa ay nagpapakita nang magandang proyekto ng bawat sector na dinaraos taon-taon sa PAGCOR (Rizal, La Paz, Tarlac). Ang mga dumalo sa program ay ang mga VAWC, Kalipi, LGBT, Solo Parent, Senior Citizen, Day Care Worker, PWD, Focal Persons at ang PYAP.

Ang nagbahagi sa pangakat ng PYAP ay si G. Danilo Diaz na nagpakita ng angking galing nito sa pagtatalak sa kawiliwiling pagapapahayag; na kung saan ay pinamalas niya ang mga program't proyekto na napagtagumpayan ng mga PYAP kada baranggay sa loob ng isang taon. Nagbahagi rin ito ng kanyang sariling karanasan bilang isang leader, secretary, at isang tatanging PYAP, na ayon sa kanya ay kinapulutan n'ya ng aral.

Sa ikalawang araw naman ay tinalak ang tungkol sa karapatan ng taon lalo na ng mga bata dahil sila ang vulnerable sa kahit anong abuso o violence. Kasama sa mga tinalakay ang mga batas at parusa sa kung sino man ang lalabag dito. Ang mga ahesya ng gobyerno na maaring lapitan kung magkaroon man nang pang-aabuso ay binahagi rin ng tagapagsalita.

Sa pamamagitan ng mga talakayang ito ay talagang marami matuturo o magiging- aware sa mga kaganapan at kung makasaksi o may magsbong man ay alam na ang dapat gawin dahil hindi biro ang maging victima nito.
