🌊 Matapos ang M7.8 Offshore Sarangani Earthquake, nakapagtala ang DOST-PHIVOLCS ng mga lugar na nakaranas ng coastal uplift o pag-angat ng bahagi ng baybayin sa ilang isla sa Davao Occidental.

Sa isinagawang field assessment ng PHIVOLCS Quick Response Team (QRT), naobserbahan ang mga dating nakalubog na coral reef at baybaying lugar na ngayon ay nakaangat at mas lantad na sa ibabaw ng dagat.

Mahalaga ang mga obserbasyong ito upang mas maunawaan ang mga epekto ng lindol at makatulong sa mga susunod na pag-aaral at hazard assessment.

As of 2:00 AM today, 18 June 2026, a Low Pressure area (LPA 06b) is being monitored outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) and has a "MEDIUM" chance of developing into a tropical depression within the next 24 hours.

All are advised to monitor updates from DOST-PAGASA.

This activity aims to enhance earthquake preparedness, promote disaster awareness, and strengthen community response capabilities during seismic events. All barangay officials, volunteers, schools, offices, and residents are encouraged to join and practice the proper "Duck, Cover, and Hold" procedure.
