Local Technical Committee on Organic Agriculture

August 28, 2026 | The Local Technical Committee on Organic Agriculture, under the Organic Agriculture Program, was convened and facilitated by the Office of the Municipal Agriculturist (OMAG), led by Engr. Marvin Aboy.

The activity was attended by Municipal Mayor Hon. Antonio G. Fungan, Jr., Municipal Councilors Hon. Ace Ofong and Hon. Emilio Fado, together with representatives from various Farmers’ Associations and Organic Practitioners.

The meeting highlights the Local Government Unit of Lake Sebu’s continued commitment to strengthening organic agriculture, empowering local farmers, and promoting sustainable and environmentally friendly farming practices in the community.

Through collaboration among government agencies, farmers, and organic agriculture practitioners, the LGU continues to support initiatives that contribute to food security, sustainable livelihoods, and a resilient agricultural sector in Lake Sebu.

CALLING ALL ORGANIC FARM PRACTITIONERS AND YOUTH ENTHUSIASTS!
The ATI-RTC XII is looking for farm partners and youth interns for the next batch of the Youth Internship Program on Organic Farming (YIPOA).

YIPOA is a highly specialized internship program designed to instill and develop in the trainees an appreciation for organic agriculture (OA). The program is a collaborative effort between the DA-NOAP and the DA-ATI.
