SCPPO INTENSIFIES LAW ENFORCEMENT OPERATIONS FOR A SAFER SOUTH COTABATO

The South Cotabato Police Provincial Office (SCPPO) continues to strengthen its law enforcement and community-based operations through sustained enforcement of local ordinances and national laws.
On September 5, 2026, police personnel, in coordination with local government and health offices, carried out focused operations against the sale and distribution of ci******es without required tax stamps and Graphic Health Warning (GHW) labels, resulting in the confiscation of various cigarette products and the issuance of appropriate citations and warnings.

Meanwhile, OPLAN KATOK efforts led to the voluntary surrender of an unrenewed registered firearm for safekeeping and proper disposition, reinforcing the importance of responsible firearm ownership and compliance with licensing requirements.

SCPPO personnel also served a Warrant of Arrest in connection with a violation of RA 9262, while ensuring that proper legal procedures and documentation were observed.

These accomplishments reflect SCPPOโ€™s unwavering commitment to law enforcement, public safety, regulatory compliance, and community partnership. Through sustained operations and close coordination with local government and partner agencies, SCPPO remains steadfast in its mission to protect the people and maintain peace and order throughout South Cotabato.
