𝗜𝗦𝗢 𝟵𝟬𝟬𝟭:𝟮𝟬𝟭𝟱 𝗖𝗘𝗥𝗧𝗜𝗙𝗜𝗘𝗗

Isang mahalagang hakbang tungo sa mas maaasahan, tama at maayos na serbisyo publiko ang nakamit ng Provincial Government of South Cotabato matapos itong irekomenda para sa certificate issuance ayon sa ISO 9001:2015 standard. Patunay ito ng patuloy na pagsisikap ng Pamahalaang Panlalawigan, sa ilalim ng pamumuno ni Governor Reynaldo S. Tamayo Jr., na mapanatili ang mataas na pamantayan sa pamamahala at sa paghahatid ng serbisyo.

Ang pagkilalang ito ay sumasalamin sa commitment ng lalawigan sa kalidad, kahusayan, at tuloy-tuloy na pagpapabuti ng mga proseso para mas mapagsilbihan ang mga mamamayan. Sa pamamagitan ng mas sistematiko at episyenteng pamamahala.

In support of and commitment to the development of young South Cotabateño leaders, the 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐀𝐠𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐭 (𝐎𝐏𝐀𝐠) – 𝐒𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡 𝐂𝐨𝐭𝐚𝐛𝐚𝐭𝐨 proudly joined the 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐫 in celebrating 𝐋𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐠𝐨 𝐧𝐠 𝐊𝐚𝐛𝐚𝐭𝐚𝐚𝐧 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔, anchored on the theme "𝐃𝐢𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐱𝐭𝐬, 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐨𝐧 𝐀𝐬𝐩𝐢𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬.”

As part of the celebration, the 𝐅𝐚𝐫𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐈𝐧𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐓𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐂𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫 (𝐅𝐈𝐓𝐒 𝐂𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫) of OPAg South Cotabato distributed Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) materials designed to promote agriculture, raise awareness, and inspire the province’s young leaders to recognize the vital role of agriculture in building resilient, sustainable, and progressive communities.

Through initiatives like this, OPAg continues to engage and empower the youth for greater appreciation of agriculture and to encourage the next generation to become active partners in shaping a brighter future for South Cotabato.

Dumalo ang Office of the Provincial Agriculturist, kasama ang mga Municipal Agriculturists mula sa iba’t ibang bayan ng South Cotabato, sa 𝐓𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐈𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐩𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐁𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐟𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐚 𝐬𝐚 𝐌𝐨𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐞 𝐒𝐨𝐢𝐥 𝐋𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲 (𝐌𝐒𝐋) na isinagawa ng DA RFO 12 Regional Soils Laboratory noong Agosto 17–18, 2026 sa Koronadal City, South Cotabato.

Layunin ng aktibidad na ihanda ang Provincial Local Government Unit (PLGU) ng South Cotabato at ang mga kalahok na Municipal Local Government Units (MLGUs) para sa nakatakdang pag-deploy at pagpapatakbo ng Mobile Soil Laboratory sa lalawigan. Nagsilbi rin itong mahalagang pagkakataon upang mapalakas ang koordinasyon at pagtutulungan ng mga kalahok na tanggapan at maihanda ang mga kinakailangang pamamaraan para sa paghahatid ng mobile soil testing services sa mga magsasaka.

Kabilang sa mga tinalakay dito ay ang mga sumusunod
1. Operasyon at pamamahala ng MSL
2. Pag-iiskedyul ng mga serbisyo nito, mga wastong pangangalap at paghahanda ng soil samples
3. Rapid Soil Testing, at
4. Paggamit ng FertRight.

Bukod sa mga talakayan, nagsagawa rin ang mga kalahok ng mga hands-on activities upang mapaunlad ang kanilang praktikal na kaalaman at kasanayan sa soil testing at assessment.

Sa pamamagitan ng pagsasanay na ito, higit na napalakas ang kahandaan ng mga AEWs sa pagpapatupad ng mobile soil testing services at sa pagbibigay ng mas mabisa at madaling maabot na soil testing support sa mga magsasaka ng South Cotabato.

𝗖𝗼𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘂𝘁 𝗦𝗲𝗲𝗱𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 𝗗𝗲𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗦𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼 𝗕𝗶𝘆𝗮𝘄𝗮𝗻, 𝗟𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗦𝗲𝗯𝘂

𝗔𝘂𝗴𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝟭𝟰, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 – The Office of the Provincial Agriculturist under the leadership of Dr. Raul D. Teves distributed one thousand (1,000) Coconut seedlings sourced out from the Philippine Coconut Authority (PCA) Provincial Office in Sitio Biyawan, Barangay Ned, Lake Sebu supporting local efforts to expand coconut production and strengthen sustainable agricultural livelihoods in the area.

The distribution provides farmers with quality planting materials that can help increase farm productivity, diversify sources of income and contribute to the long-term development of coconut-based agriculture in the upland communities.

The initiative also highlights the continuing partnership among agricultural agencies and local communities in bringing government assistance and production support closer to farmers, particularly in geographically isolated areas such as Sitio Biyawan.
