The Regional Conciliation and Mediation Branch XII (RCMB XII) took part in the 2026 Basic Single Entry Assistance Desk Officer (SEADO) Training held on September 1โ3, 2026, at the Aqua Pavilion, The Farm at Carpenter Hills, South Cotabato, as part of the continuing efforts to strengthen the capacity of SEADOs from the Department of Labor and Employment Regional Office XII (DOLE RO XII) and National Labor Relations Commission Regional Arbitration Branch XII (NLRC RAB XII) in providing timely, accessible, and effective assistance to workers and employers.
Led by Regional Branch Director Gerie D. Lampitco, RCMB XII contributed its expertise to the three-day learning activity, particularly on the Conciliation-Mediation Process, Writing Minutes and Agreements, Qualities, Skills and Responsibilities of Effective SEADOs, DOLE ARMS, SENA Reportorial Requirements, and Mock Conciliation-Mediation.
The training also covered essential labor-related topics, including the Introduction to the SEnA Program, SEnA Interviewing Basics, General Labor Standards and Occupational Safety and Health, Job Contracting and Subcontracting, Termination Issues, Inter- and Intra-Union Disputes, ECC and Social Welfare Benefits, and technical assistance on other DOLE programs.
Through this collaborative capacity-building initiative, RCMB XII continues to support the development of competent and responsive SEADOs who can help promote accessible, efficient, and meaningful labor dispute prevention and settlement mechanisms.
