"Year-End PRAISE Awards Night Celebrates Excellence in DOJ-Parole and Probation Region IX"

*Pagadian City, December 16, 2024* – The Department of Justice-Parole and Probation Administration (DOJ-PPA) Regional Office IX, under the leadership of Dir. Ruth C. Perucho, hosted its Year-End PRAISE Awards Night for the calendar year 2024 at the picturesque Springland Resort in Pagadian City.

The event, held on December 16, 2024 , drew attention and was graced by the esteemed presence of Director Sarah L. Amores-Batoy from the Civil Service Commission Zamboanga del Sur Field Office. The festivities were further enhanced by coverage from Malindang Broadcasting Network, ensuring the celebration reached a wider audience.

The awards night was a dazzling affair, with attendees showcasing their elegance in sparkling and shimmering attires. It was a vibrant evening adorned with joy and camaraderie, as personnel came together to celebrate their collective achievements and dedication to the goals of the DOJ-PPA.

JUST IN | In line with Memorandum Circular No. 45 issued by the Office of the President on April 18, 2024, directing all government agencies and instrumentalities, and encouraging local government units to support the implementation of the 2024 National Crime Prevention Program, a motorcade was held to mark the Opening Ceremony of National Crime Prevention Week. Themed "Kabataan Tara na, sa Crime Prevention Kaisa Ka!", the event took place on September 2, 2024, starting at 7:00 AM from Taclobo, Plaza Luz, Pagadian City. The activity was led by NAPOLCOM Region IX and was attended by ARD/ROIC Ruth C. Perucho, CPO Alyssa May Z. Comique, SrPO Clydelyn M. Hortilano, SrPO Glenda J. Abao, POII Benjamin M. Abenes, Jr., ADAIV Audry Mae E. Alayon, ADAIV Hany P. Coilano, and representatives from various regional-line agencies. The initiative aims to foster youth participation and collective community action in crime prevention.
