PDAO - LGU Kitaotao The Persons with Disability Affairs Office of LGU Kitaotao is a government-led initiative under the local government of Kitaotao, Bukidnon.

It serves as the primary advocate and support system for individuals with disability in the municipality.

Ang National Council on Disability Affairs (NCDA) ay inaanyayahan ang buong bansa sa paggunita ng 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐮𝐚𝐥 𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐖𝐞𝐞𝐤 alinsunod sa Proklamasyon Blg. 1385, s. 1975. 💙

Ngayong taon, tampok ang temang:
“Ginintuang Ani ng Pag-ibig Tungo sa Matagumpay at Tunay na Inklusyon.”

Ipinapaalala ng temang ito na ang inklusyon ay hindi basta adhikain—ito ay bunga ng tuloy-tuloy na malasakit, tamang suporta, at sama-samang pagkilos. Ang “ginintuang ani” ay sumisimbolo sa tagumpay na nakakamit kapag ang mga batang may intellectual disability ay nabibigyan ng maagang interbensyon, inklusibong edukasyon, at pantay na oportunidad sa komunidad.

Hinihikayat ng NCDA ang mga lokal na pamahalaan, paaralan, institusyon, at pamilya na higit pang palakasin ang maagang interbensyon, inklusibong edukasyon, at komprehensibong suporta. Ang tunay na inklusyon ay hindi lamang pagdiriwang tuwing may paggunita—ito ay konkretong aksyon, patas na oportunidad, at paggalang sa karapatang pantao at sa kapansanan araw-araw.

The Persons with Disabilities Affairs Office (PDAO) warmly joins the nation in celebrating the 30th National Autism Consciousness Week, observed every third week of January in the Philippines.

This year’s theme, “Mula Kamalayan Tungo sa Gawa: Pag-unlad ng Autism-OK Philippines” (From Awareness to Action), reminds us that understanding autism must lead to real and meaningful action. Let us work together to build an inclusive society where individuals on the autism spectrum are supported, valued, and empowered to live with dignity.

We proudly joined the celebration of the 47th National Disability Prevention and Rehabilitation Week, held from July 28 to 31, 2025, at Mt. Moriah Camp, Malaybalay City, Bukidnon.

The event featured the launch of the Provincial Disability - Inclusive Nutrition Month, exciting Paragames, and the inspiring Ms. Inclusion 2025 pageant. Joyfully celebrated with Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) and Differently Abled Persons (DAPs) from various municipalities.

It was a meaningful week of unity, empowerment, and celebrating abilities!

We extend our heartfelt thanks to the Provincial Government of Bukidnon, our Municipal Mayor and Vice Mayor, the Municipal Councils, and all organizers, partners, and supporters who made this event possible.

As we close the celebration of the 47th National Disability Rights Week, we at the Persons with Disability Affairs Office (PDAO) of the Municipality of Kitaotao would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who stood with us in advocating for accessibility, inclusion, and empowerment of persons with disabilities.

A special congratulations to Miss Inclusion 2025, Christine Abigail Baculio, a proud Deaf woman who continues to inspire many with her courage, advocacy, and grace. Your win is not just a crown, but a symbol of representation, resilience, and hope for the entire PWD community.

A warm and heartfelt thank you to our dear parents, supporters, the Deaf and PWD communities, and most especially to our local leaders, Municipal Mayor Edwin P.
