This year’s Linggo ng Kabataan theme focuses on Green Leadership, this is to help the youth be more aware and more responsible on environmental issues in our country.

As part of this environmental action, we invited an Eco Warrior to ask the final question for “Miss Linggo ng Kabataan Kitaotao 2023” via video presentation to inspire the youth on taking part and become a catalyst for change.

To all asking why walay BALL GAMES, in behalf sa 35 Sk chairmans of 35 Barangays here are Some REASONS ngano mas gipili ug nauyonan sa kadaghanan during sa meeting ngano walay ball games.

1. Tanan brgy ng suffer karon na tuig tungud sa pag decrease sa NTA. Pasabot apil budget sa SK nga 10% sa budget sa brgy. ng decrease.

2. Ang 10% nga budget sa SK kuhaan pa ug 25% subject for allocation sa PS(honorarium) sa SK kagawad, SK treasurer, ug SK secretary(LBC 148). Nga maoy isa ka hinungdan ngano mas nisamot ug kagamay ang SK Budget for CY 2023.

3. Ang SK Budget is dili lang para sa SPORTS, naay ginasunod ang SK nga 9 pillars or 9 ka areas nga dapat gahinan sa ilang 10% (ex. Education, Health, Environment, Capability building, Disaster Risk Reduction ug naa pay uban.) Pasabot mandatory nga ilang gahinan ang lain areas dili lang kay puros SPORTS.

4. Naay barangay nga kaya maka finance ug dako ug naa pud barangay nga dili. Geconsider pud nga sa barangay events like ARAW NG BRGY mugasto pa ang SK swerte lang ang uban barangay nga tabangan sa ilang brgy ang sk regarding sa gastohon but mostly sk budget jud ang kuhaan sa gastohanan tanan sports related activity.

-PIPILA ra kini sa mga RASON nga gebalik balik namo ug consider para sa kaayohan sa inyong tagsa tagsa ka brgy. Dili raman pud BALL GAMES ang basehan sa SPORTSMANSHIP.
