Tampok sa talakayan ang pagbabahagi ng Kidapawan City sa naging resulta ng HINABI: Youth Dialogue for Peace na isinagawa noong Hulyo 2026, kung saan naging mahalagang bahagi ang boses at pananaw ng kabataan sa pagtukoy ng mga usaping may kaugnayan sa kapayapaan at kaunlaran.

Ibinahagi rin ng lungsod ang Comprehensive Implementation Plan, kabilang ang mga pangunahing youth-related concerns tulad ng online gambling, online safety, teenage pregnancy, literacy gaps, at kakulangan ng ligtas at functional spaces para sa kabataan.

Sa halip na tingnan lamang ang mga ito bilang problema, isinusulong ng Core Team ang Positive Youth Development approachโ€”pagbibigay sa kabataan ng tamang suporta, skills, mentorship, at positibong oportunidad upang sila mismo ay maging bahagi ng solusyon.

Binigyang-diin din ang mahalagang papel ng pamilya, paaralan, pamahalaan, academe, at iba pang stakeholders sa paghubog ng mas ligtas at supportive na environment para sa kabataan. Nagpahayag din ng kahandaang makipagtulungan ang University of Southern Mindanao (USM) Main Campus sa mga programang bibigyang-prayoridad ng lungsod.

Sa pamamagitan ng CUCPD, patuloy na isinusulong ng Kidapawan City ang isang pamayanang mas ligtas, mapayapa, inklusibo, at youth-friendlyโ€”kung saan ang kabataan ay hindi lamang benepisyaryo ng programa, kundi katuwang sa pagbuo ng solusyon at kapayapaan.

KIDAPAWAN CITY โ€” Naging makulay at makabuluhan ang dalawang araw ng Dance and Choreography Workshop noong Agosto 8-9 2026 sa City Convention Center, kung saan nagsama-sama ang mga Kabataang Kidapaweรฑo mula sa ibaโ€™t ibang barangay at paaralan upang matuto, makalikha, at higit pang mapaunlad ang kanilang talento sa sayaw.

Ito ay bahagi ng pagdiriwang ng ๐—Ÿ๐—ถ๐—ป๐—ด๐—ด๐—ผ ๐—ป๐—ด ๐—ž๐—ฎ๐—ฏ๐—ฎ๐˜๐—ฎ๐—ฎ๐—ป (๐—Ÿ๐—ก๐—ž) ๐Ÿฎ๐Ÿฌ๐Ÿฎ๐Ÿฒ, layunin ng workshop na hindi lamang hasain ang kakayahan ng mga kabataan sa dance at choreography, kundi bigyan din sila ng pagkakataong matuklasan ang kanilang potensyal, magkaroon ng kumpiyansa sa sarili, makipag-ugnayan sa kapwa kabataan, at maipahayag ang kanilang creativity.

Sa pamamagitan ng mga lecture, demonstration, movement exercises, at hands-on activities, unti-unting nabuksan sa mga participants ang mas malalim na mundo ng sayawโ€”mula sa basic dance techniques at movement exploration hanggang sa mga pundasyon ng choreography.

Ngunit higit pa sa mga hakbang at galaw, naging pagkakataon din ang dalawang araw upang makilala ng kabataan ang kanilang sariling kakayahan at matutong makipagtulungan sa iba.

Sa bawat galaw ay may kuwento. Sa bawat choreography ay may creativity. At sa bawat kabataang lumalahok ay may potensyal na maaaring mapaunlad at magamit para sa kanilang sarili at sa kanilang komunidad.

Ito ang nais isulong ng Linggo ng Kabataan 2026โ€”isang pagdiriwang na hindi lamang nagbibigay ng activities para sa kabataan, kundi lumilikha ng mga makabuluhang espasyo kung saan sila ay maaaring matuto, kumonekta, lumikha, manguna, at mag-ambag.

Sa dalawang araw na aktibidad, malinaw ang mensahe ng Pamahaalang Lungsod: Kapag binigyan ng pagkakataon ang kabataan, kaya nilang gumalaw. Kaya nilang lumikha. At kaya nilang maging bahagi ng pagbabago.

Naging matagumpay ang gawain sa pangunguna ng Office of the City Culture and for the Arts katuwang ang City of Kidapawan Performance Arts Guild (CKPAG) at gabay ng Local Youth Development office, SK Federation of Kidapawan City, at Local Youth Development Council.

The National Youth Commission (NYC) has issued SK Advisory No. 2026-P011, entitled "Reiteration on the Strict Compliance with DBMโ€“DILGโ€“NYC Joint Memorandum Circular No. 1, s. of 2025, on the Appropriation, Release, Planning, and Budgeting of Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) Funds."

This Advisory reiterates the policies governing the release, deposit, management, and accountability of SK Funds. It also provides guidance on the timely and automatic release of SK funds, the establishment of SK current accounts, the proper handling of funds in the absence of a bank account or quorum, and the responsibilities of both barangay and SK officials in ensuring transparency, accountability, and compliance with existing laws and issuances.

All SK Officials, Local Youth Development Council (LYDC) Members, and Local Youth Development Officers (LYDOs) are encouraged to review the Advisory and ensure strict compliance with the applicable guidelines on the management and utilization of SK Funds.

The Junior City Officials Screening, Assessment, and Selection 2026 was successfully held on ๐€๐ฎ๐ ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ญ ๐Ÿ”, ๐Ÿ๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ”, at the ๐‚๐ข๐ญ๐ฒ ๐‚๐จ๐ง๐ฏ๐ž๐ง๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง ๐‡๐š๐ฅ๐ฅ, as one of the meaningful activities of Linggo ng Kabataan 2026. The activity brought together 34 Junior Punong Barangays representing the different barangays of Kidapawan City, providing them with an avenue to demonstrate their leadership potential, advocacies, confidence, and commitment to youth development.

His message encouraged the young leaders to recognize the value of responsible leadership, active participation, and genuine public service.
