03 𝕵𝖚𝖓𝖊 2026 | The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA)- Cotabato Province, in partnership of the Municipal CBMS Coordinating Board of LGU Aleosan officially conducted the first Convening of 2027 Community-Based Monitoring System (CBMS) held at the Municipal Conference Hall, Aleosan, Cotabato.

The 2027 CBMS meeting gathered the key municipal officials, presided by the Chairperson, Municipal Mayor Eduardo C. Cabaya, together with the members of the Municipal CBMS Coordinating Board to formally discussed the preparation for the implementation of 2027 CBMS.

03 𝕵𝖚𝖓𝖊 2026 | The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) – Cotabato Provincial Statistical Office (PSO), together with the Local Government Unit of the Municipality of Kabacan, successfully conducted the first convening of the Municipal Community-Based Monitoring System (CBMS) Coordinating Board (MCCB) at the Conference Room of the Mayor’s Office in Kabacan, Cotabato.

Preparations for the 2027 CBMS Round were among the primary agenda items discussed during the meeting, with emphasis on operational arrangements, coordination activities, and map boundary requirements. Representatives from municipal offices and partner agencies joined the discussions to ensure a coordinated and successful implementation of CBMS in the municipality.

🍽️ Food and non-alcoholic beverages - 32.7%
🏠 Housing, water, electricity, gas, and other fuels - 24.0%
🚍 Transport - 21.9%

Meanwhile, core inflation, which excludes selected food and energy items, accelerated to 4.1% in May 2026 from 3.9% in April 2026.

𝐈𝐍 𝐏𝐇𝐎𝐓𝐎𝐒 || The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) – Cotabato Provincial Statistical Office successfully conducted its third-level training for statistical researchers on June 3–4, 2026, at the PSA Cotabato Office. The training was led by Mr. Ronald B. Amban, a Statistical Analyst and the designated focal person for the event. The aim of the training was to equip statistical researchers with the essential knowledge and standardized protocols required to conduct the June 2026 Labor Force Survey (LFS).
The June 2026 Labor Force Survey (LFS), organized nationwide by the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA), will take place from June 8 to June 27, 2026. This survey collects essential information about the demographic and socio-economic characteristics of the population. It offers a quantitative framework for developing plans and policies that impact the labor market. The labor market is a crucial indicator of a country's employment situation, providing insights into unemployment rates, labor force participation, and employment trends.
