The Traffic Management and Enforcement Unit (TMEU) will strictly implement MC No. VDM-2024-2637, requiring all types of Electric Vehicles (EVs) to be registered with the LTO, particularly Light Electric Vehicles (LEVs) when used or operated on any National Highway within Kidapawan City. Operators and users must also possess a valid driverโ€™s license.

Furthermore, all electric vehicles under Categories L2 to L5 are required to use the outermost lane of the National Highway at all times. This measure is being enforced in line with recent vehicular traffic accidents involving electric vehicles.

TMEU will likewise strictly implement Ordinance No. 1352, otherwise known as the Helmet Ordinance, requiring all drivers and back riders of motorcycles, e-bikes, and scooters to wear standard protective helmets for their safety.

The public is hereby advised to comply with all traffic laws and regulations to ensure road safety and prevent accidents.

MAHIGIT LIMANG LIBONG VIOLATORS NG NO HELMET POLICY HINULI NG TMEU NOONG 2025

KIDAPAWAN CITY - Limang libo walongdaan at limampuโ€™t-dalawang (5,852) mga sumuway sa City Ordinance 1352 ang pinaghuhuli ng Traffic Management and Enforcement Unit (TMEU), nitong nakaraang taon ng 2025.

Karamihan sa mga nahuli ay mga biyahero at drivers ng motorsiklo na bumibiyahe na walang suot ng helmet.

Sa accomplishment report ng TMEU sa ginanap na Flag Raising Ceremony at Convocation Program ng City Government nitong umaga ng January 12, nasa 65% sa mga ito ay pawang mga taga Kidapawan City habang ang 35% ay mga taga ibang lugar, ayon pa sa TMEU.

Mahigpit ang pagpapatupad ng ordinansa para na rin sa kaligtasan ng mismong driver at back rider.

Samantala may 2,887 na motorista ang naisyuhan ng Temporary Operators Permit o TOP sa pagsuway naman sa RA 4136 o ang Transportation and Traffic Code of the Philippines gaya ng walang lisensya, kaukulang dokumento at iba't ibang traffic violations sa daan.

Nasa 911 ang bilang ng nakumpiskang lisensya at 1,976 naman na iba't ibang sasakyan ang naimpound ng mga otoridad. # #(Lloyd Kenzo Oasay | City Information Office)

INSPECTION NG TRICYCLE IPATUTUPAD NA SIMULA DECEMBER 1

KIDAPAWAN CITY -Nagpalabas na ng anunsyo ang Traffic Management and Enforcement Unit o TMEU na gagawin na nila ang inspection simula December 1-31.

Maliban sa ito ay rekisito sa pagkuha ng Permit to Operate para legal na makabyahe sa lungsod sa taong 2026, binibigyang katiyakan din nito ang riding public na ligtas sumakay sa mga tricycle.

Mangyaring magdala lamang ang operator o driver ng mga sumusunod na kaukulang dokumento: Original Permit at Franchise, Photocopy ng OR/CR,Drivers License at QR Code galing sa City Tricycle Franchising Regulatory Board o CTFRB.

Ang inspection ng mga tricycle ang ikalawang hakbang sa pagpoproseso ng renewal ng kanilang Permit to Operate matapos sumailalim sa seminar kaugnay sa Batas Trapiko ang mga operator at driver. # #(Lloyd Kenzo Oasay/City Information Office)
