FEBRUARY 16, 2022 | Activation of MUNICIPAL COMELEC CAMPAIGN COMMITTEE (MCCC) and discussed the COMELEC Resolution No. 10732.

The meeting was conducted by EO Rosemarie G. Paguirigan, Election Officer III as a Chairperson of MCCC and attended by the deputized agency DILG, PNP, AFP and DOH as a member of MCCC.

The highlights of the said meeting was the implementation of the COMELEC Resolution No. 10732 in the conduct of (1) In-Person Campaign (2) Rallies (3) Caucuses, Meetings and Conventions, (4) Motorcades and Caravans, and (5) Miting De Avance under the "NEW NORMAL" in connection with the May 9, 2022 National and Local Elections.

The Commission, joins the nation in its efforts and support s the main objective of the Government, to stop the spread of COVID-19 during Election Campaign Activity.

As provided in COMELEC Resolution No.. 10730 RE: Rules and Regulations Implementing Republic Act No. 9006 otherwise known as the "FAIR ELECTIONS ACT" in connection with the May 9, 2022 National and Local Elections.

The COMELEC remind the Candidates both National and Local that posters, tarpaulins and the likes may be posted ONLY in the areas identified and approved as common poster area by the COMELEC.

The posting of campaign materials in areas outside of the designated common poster areas are 𝗦𝗧𝗥𝗜𝗖𝗧𝗟𝗬 𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗛𝗜𝗕𝗜𝗧𝗘𝗗 except in private properties or places with the consent of the owners thereof 𝗔𝗡𝗗 must comply with the allowable size requirement.

Also, sizes of individual posters that may be posted in each common poster area 𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗲𝘅𝗰𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝟮 𝗳𝗲𝗲𝘁 𝗯𝘆 𝟯 𝗳𝗲𝗲𝘁.
