January 15, 2026 - Awarding of Project Angel Tree

A heartfelt gratitude to Department of Labor and Employment - Ifugao for choosing our school as a beneficiary for the DOLE's Project Angel Tree.

DOLE's Project Angel Tree is a Philippine government initiative by the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) under its Child Labor Prevention and Elimination Program (CLPEP) that provides essential social services, school supplies, and gifts to child laborers and their families, delivered by "angels" (sponsors/partners) to foster education, improve well-being, and combat child labor through community support and awareness campaigns.

The project was indeed a great help to our learners for the provision of their needs in learning and also an awareness to them on child labor prevention and elimination.

All efforts well paid off! 1st in the Kiangan District Search for Most Functional Gulayan sa Paaralan, Small Category (Elementary) - SY 2024-2025. It was a collaborative effort of school staff, parents and supportive barangay officials and staff. Kudos to all!

Special thanks to the donor of seedlings through sir JB Jerome Bantiyan and uncle Reginald Dumangeng for the lettuce seedlings. Keep it up and more blessing in return.

Some of the learners and school personnel of Nagacadan ES were privileged as participants in the Volleyball Clinic and Coaches' Training held (6.14.2024) at the school premises by Spike and Serve Philippines Inc. and it's international counterpart, Let's Keep The Ball Flying ( LKTBF).

The school was chosen among the few schools in Ifugao where the be held. It is one
of Spike and Serve Philippines Inc.'s program which aims to train community coaches in remote provinces lacking grassroots volleyball programs.

10 pupils from the Nagacadan ES (Grades 4 and 5) actively participated in the Rock Painting and Bookmark Making for Grade Schoolers conducted at the Kiangan Memorial Shrine, May 14, 2024.
This is one of the activities in the celebration of the National Heritage Month by the National Commission for Culture and the Arts.

April 4, 2024, Nagacadan ES teachers and staff, representatives from BLGU Nagacadan and MPS Kiangan together with students on immersion (SJS Grade 12) had tree planting at the school premises. About 70 seedlings of Mahogany were planted.
