Yesterday, the Peace Education Club successfully participated in the well-organized clean-up drive behind the SHS Building 2, this activity aims to maintain the schoolโs cleanliness for the upcoming Division Festival of Talents happening today and tomorrow, there were two shifts scheduled: the morning shift from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM and the afternoon shift from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM.
Officers from both shifts actively participated, showing enthusiasm, teamwork, and a strong sense of responsibility throughout the activity.
The clean-up focused specifically behind the surroundings of SHS Building 2. Members worked together to sweep pathways, pick up litter, clear dried leaves, and tidy the areas around the building. Through their cooperation and shared effort, the officers were able to improve the overall appearance and cleanliness of the school grounds, making the environment more pleasant and safer for students and staff.
Beyond the physical results, the activity also became a meaningful opportunity for leadership and character development. The officers demonstrated discipline, time management, and accountability while working within their assigned shifts. They supported one another, showed initiative in completing tasks, and proved that even simple actions like cleaning can reflect deeper values such as respect for shared spaces and care for the community.
The clean-up drive also strengthened unity and camaraderie among members of the Peace Education Club. Working side by side allowed them to build stronger connections and reminded them that peace can be promoted not only through discussions and programs, but also through responsible action and cooperation.
Overall, the event was a success. The outside area of SHS Building 2 was left cleaner and more organized, and the officers gained a stronger bond, a sense of accomplishment, and a renewed commitment to serving the school community.
