Earlier this morning, the Fire Olympics Training at Kauswagan Central School and Kauswagan Gymnasium showcased the strong spirit of cooperation and readiness within the community. 🔥💪

Participants from Barangay Kawit Occidental, Tacub, and Libertad gathered to develop their skills in fire safety, emergency response, and teamwork. More than just a competition, this training serves as an important opportunity to prepare individuals to respond effectively in times of emergency.

By working together and engaging in practical activities, we continue to build a safer and more resilient community. Events like this highlight the importance of being prepared, as the knowledge and skills gained today can make a life-saving difference in the future.

The Barangay of Kawit Occidental joyfully celebrated the 3 Kings Party. We are grateful that the event was successfully held through the united efforts of our Barangay Officials, led by Hon. Venus E. Lozano, together with the SK Officials headed by Hon. Wilmar Adriane Andam.

In this regard, we extend our sincerest appreciation to our generous sponsors whose support made this celebration possible. We also thank the people of Barangay Kawit Occidental for their active participation, as well as our esteemed judges who generously shared their time and expertise to make this event truly memorable.

We would also like to congratulate all the participants of the Daygon Contest, Christmas Modern Dance and Maskara Dance for their outstanding performances, which added meaning and vibrance to the celebration.

𝗚𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝗞𝗮𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗻𝗼𝗻𝘀!✨

The Barangay of Kawit Occidental will be celebrating the annual event— 𝟑 𝐊𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬, this coming January 6, 2026.

The event will not be complete without the traditional Daygon Contest, Christmas Modern Dance, Exchange Gifts, and Gift Surprises. So, don’t missed this memorable and exciting event.

Guidelines and Mechanics For Daygon Contest:

1. The participants must be a bonafide resident of Barangay Kawit Occidental.
2. The participants must be at least 16 years old and above.
3. Every group must be composed of a minimum 8 members and a maximum of 10 members.
4. The song choice may be originally composed or not (it’s up to the participants).
5. If the participants will use background music, it should be submitted to the sound system operator before the program starts.
6. The participants may use their own instruments.
7. The performance must be a minimum of 3 minutes and a maximum 6 minutes
8. Vulgar words are strictly prohibited.
9. The participants must be creative with their performances and costumes. There will be special award for Best In Costume.

Christmas Modern Dance Competition Guidelines and Mechanics:

1. The participants must be a bonafide resident of Barangay Kawit Occidental.
2. The Christmas Modern Dance Competition must compose of a minimum of 8 and a maximum of 10 dancers.
3. The participants are allowed to choose their own music as long as it is not vulgar.
4. The music must not be over 8 minutes and less than 2 minutes.
5. The participants shall submit their music before the competition starts.
6. The participants will be judged based on the musicality, choreography and originality, costume, and overall performance.

Criteria for Judging:

Choreography- 30%
Musicality and Originality- 20%
Performance- 30%
Costume - 10%
Audience Impact- 10%
