💡PROJECT UPDATE 💡

Additional lights have been installed at the Barangay Matam Covered Court, a project initiated by the Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay Matam to improve lighting conditions and promote a safer and more accessible venue for sports and community events.

This initiative aims to improve visibility and provide a safer and more conducive space for sports activities, youth programs, and community activities, particularly during evening hours.

In celebration of the Barangay Fiesta 2026, the Sangguniang Kabataan ng Barangay Matam proudly presents 🎭 SHINE ON STAGE 2026 🎭 — a stage where the amazing talents of our community take the spotlight!

Whether you sing, dance, perform spoken word, comedy, or showcase any creative talent, this is your chance to step on stage and showcase your talent!

📍 Venue: Barangay Matam Covered Court
📅 Date: April 5, 2026

🏆 CASH PRIZES AWAIT:

🥇 1st Prize – ₱3,000
🥈 2nd Prize – ₱2,000
🥉 3rd Prize – ₱1,000...................................

📖 Competition Guidelines:
• Open to all residents and/or students affiliated with Barangay Matam.
• Participants may perform solo or group acts.
• Each performance shall have a duration of three (3) to five (5) minutes only.
• Acts may include (but are not limited to): singing, dancing, instrumental, drama, magic, spoken word, or novelty acts).
• Use of props and background music is allowed. Participants must provide their own materials unless arranged with organizers.
• Submit music before the day of the competition.
• Participants must arrive at least 30 minutes before the event for preparation.
• Costumes must be appropriate, decent, and aligned with the performance.
• Dangerous props or materials are strictly prohibited.
• Judges’ decisions are final and irrevocable.
• Scoring will be based on the official criteria............................................

📊 Judging Criteria:
Talent & Skill (40%) – Mastery, Quality and ex*****on of the performance.
Originality & Creativity (20%) – Uniqueness and inventiveness of ideas and presentation.
Stage Presence & Confidence (20%) – Poise, self-assurance, and audience engagement.
Costume & Visual Impact (10%) – Appropriateness and visual appeal of costume, props, and staging.
Audience Impact (10%) – Ability to captivate, entertain, and leave a lasting impression.
