KALAHI || Nagmalampuson ang duha ka adlaw nga pagpahigayon sa KALAHI CIDSS National Community Driven Development Program Additional Financing (KC NCDDP AF) Project Development Workshop (PDW) cm Environmental and Social Safeguards (ESS) Training nga gipahigayon sa Department of Agriculture Training Center, Kapalong, Davao del Norte.

Ang maong aktibidades gisalmutan sa (3) tulo hangtod (5) lima nga mga representante gikan sa (11) onse ka mga barangay sa maong lungsod diin mipa-ilawom sa nagkalahi-lahi nga workshop aron mahanas ang kahibalo mahitungod sa pagpangandam sa pag-implementar sa mga sub-proyekto nga napili sa matag barangay.

Mipakita usab ug iyahang dakong suporta ang atong mayor sa lungsod, Mayor Tess Timbol, ug mitunol sa iyahang mensahe sa mga mitambong sa maong panagtapok.

Ang maong mga sub-proyekto gipundohan pinaagi sa Loan Proceeds (Grant) ni World Bank nga nagkantidad ug (10) Ten Million Pesos ug Local Counterpart Contribution (LCC) nga cash ni LGU Kapalong nga nagkantidad ug (5) Five Million Pesos.

Malamposong nagpahigayon ang KALAHI CIDSS NCDDP-ADDITIONAL FINANCING Kapalong ug Pre-Implementation Workshop (PIW) agig timaan sa pagsugod sa unang hugna (Phase 1) sa implementasyon sa sub-proyekto.

Nahisgutan sa maong aktibidad ang mga tumong sa pagpatukod sa maong sub-proyekto ug ang mga hulagway niini aron kini makab-ot subay sa hustong proseso base sa mga giya nga gihatag ni World Bank. Dugang pa niana, nahisgutan usab ang mga pama-agi sa pagpamalit ug pagcheck sa mga materyales nga paga-gamiton sa nagkada-iyang sub-proyekto.

Ang onse (11) ka mga benepesyaryong Barangay adunay nagkalain-laing sub-proyekto nga pagatukoron pina-agi sa pundo gikan sa World Bank kon
Loan Proceeds ug usab pundo o Local Counterpart Contribution (LCC) gikan sa Local Government Unit sa Kapalong.

Gitapos ang maong activity pina-agi sa paghatag ug hamubo nga workshop agig pagsukod sa kahibalo sa mga partesipante o community volunteers diin sila mao gayod ang mangunay ug dumala sa pag-implementar sa maong sub-proyekto.

Mapasalamaton ang tibook Area ug Municipal Coordinating Team sa mga mitambong nga volunteers ilabina usab ang suporta nga ginahatag sa LGU Kapalong nga gipangunahan ni Mayor Tess Timbol.

About Us

Kalahi-CIDSS, otherwise known as the Kapit-Bisig Laban sa Kahirapan-Comprehensive and Integrated Delivery of Social Services, is one of the poverty alleviation programs of the Philippine Government being implemented by the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD). It uses the community-driven development (CDD) approach, a globally recognized strategy for achieving service delivery, poverty reduction, and good governance outcomes.

CDD:

-Helps communities in poor municipalities identify challenges around reducing poverty and make informed decisions on a range of locally identified options for development, including how this is made and in what form;
-Gives control of resources to address local poverty to communities; and
-Builds the capacity of both state (including local governments) and civil society stakeholders to provide assistance and respond to calls for support from poor communities as they implement development initiatives.

The development objective of Kalahi-CIDSS is to have barangays/communities of targeted municipalities become empowered to achieve improved access to services and to participate in more inclusive local planning, budgeting, and implementation.
