The 93rd Infantry Battalion, in collaboration with eleven municipalities of the 2nd District of Leyte, conducted the Joint Declaration of Stable Internal Peace and Security (SIPS) Conditions with Signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) at the Municipal Gymnasium of Tabontabon, Leyte.

This milestone signifies a vital step towards creating greater avenues for Economic Development, Tourism, and Employment Opportunities for residents of the eleven municipalities, namely Dulag, Capoocan, Tunga, Mayorga, Pastrana, Lapaz, Dagami, Julita, Tabontabon, McArhur and Barugo. The concerted efforts in maintaining peace and security are anticipated to attract more investors to these declared municipalities, thereby promoting sustainable growth and prosperity for the local communities.
The successful culmination of this joint declaration and MOU embodies a shared vision among local and national agencies, military units, and stakeholders to uphold peace as the foundation for progress.
