Educational assistanceโ€”gusto. Tree plantingโ€”ayaw?

People often ask, โ€œAsan na si SK?โ€
But sometimes, I wonder tooโ€”โ€œEh asan nga ba ang kabataan?โ€

I see how everyone gets excited when itโ€™s about sports, contests, or assistance.
But when it comes to clean-ups, tree planting, or seminarsโ€”biglang konti na lang ang nakikita.

Our SK is activeโ€”they plan, organize, and show up.
But Iโ€™ve realized, itโ€™s not just their job to move.

Programs only come alive when we, the youth, take part.
We always ask for opportunities and benefits,
but true growth happens when we also give effort back.

So maybe itโ€™s time to balance things out:
-Letโ€™s show up, even in the โ€œless excitingโ€ activities.
-Letโ€™s care for our surroundings, not just our games.
-Letโ€™s prove that our generation is not just loud, but responsible too.

We want active SKs, and they want active youth.
Because real change starts when both sides move together.
