Kalibo Fire Station personnel, under the supervision of FSINSP DELSIE S DE BORJA, Municipal Fire Marshal, conducted fire drill at the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) at Bachao Sur, Kalibo, Aklan.

The purpose of the activity was to strengthen the fire safety awareness, emergency preparedness, and evacuation capabilities of the personnel of the Bureau of Internal Revenue through the conduct of a fire drill facilitated by the personnel of Kalibo Fire Station under the supervision of FSINSP Delsie S. De Borja.

The activity aimed to familiarize employees with proper emergency response procedures, orderly evacuation, and coordination during fire incidents to help ensure the safety and protection of lives and property at the BIR office located in Bachao Sur, Kalibo, Aklan.

The activity aimed to familiarize the interns with basic medical apparatus, proper monitoring of vital signs, and the correct application of Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), equipping them with essential life-saving knowledge and practical skills that can be utilized during emergencies and public safety operations.

The activity aimed to remind the public to stay vigilant against potential fire hazards in their surroundings and to educate them on what to do in case of fire incidents. Through clear and accessible audio messaging, vital information was effectively delivered to a wider audience.

This initiative serves as an alternative to the traditional 𝘙𝘦𝘬𝘰𝘳𝘪𝘥𝘢, enabling the fire station to reach more community members and further strengthen the dissemination of fire safety awareness.

In line with the continuous effort to strengthen disaster preparedness and fire safety awareness, Kalibo Fire Station personnel, under the leadership of 𝙁𝙎𝙄𝙉𝙎𝙋 𝘿𝙀𝙇𝙎𝙄𝙀 𝙎 𝘿𝙀 𝘽𝙊𝙍𝙅𝘼, Municipal Fire Marshal, conducted an 𝗘𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗰𝘆 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗲 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗻 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗕𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 (𝗘𝗥𝗣𝗕) orientation and coordination meeting at Kumbinsing Inasal Corporation's Mabini Street and Rizal Street Branches with the participation of the Brgy. Poblacion- CFAG Fire Volunteers.

The activity focused on enhancing the establishment’s readiness in responding to emergencies such as fire incidents, earthquakes, and other unforeseen events through proper planning, coordination, and evacuation procedures. Topics discussed included emergency protocols, roles and responsibilities of personnel, evacuation plans, and the importance of maintaining fire safety equipment and emergency communication systems.

As part of the Emergency Response Plan for Business (ERPB), a 𝗙𝗶𝗿𝗲 𝗗𝗿𝗶𝗹𝗹 was also conducted to assess the preparedness and responsiveness of employees during emergency situations. The drill highlighted the importance of orderly evacuation, coordination, and immediate response to ensure the safety of all occupants within the establishment.

This initiative aims to promote a culture of preparedness, safety, and resilience within business establishments to help protect lives and properties at all times.
