June 2, 2026| Re-Orientation on Real Property Tax Compliance Study for Municipal Treasurers was successfully conducted at the Governor Corazon L. Cabagnot Tourism and Training Center, Kalibo, Aklan. The activity brought together Municipal Treasurers and concerned LGU personnel to enhance their understanding of the Real Property Tax (RPT) Compliance Study and its importance in strengthening local revenue generation.

Key discussions focused on the proper conduct of the RPT Compliance Study, sharing of best practices, and addressing common challenges encountered by LGUs. The activity also promoted collaboration and coordination among participants in support of improved fiscal management and revenue administration.

The Provincial Treasurer’s Office would like to thank Ms. Admerie Joy Roldan, Ms. Cristine Fuentes, Ms. Rea Robles, and Ms. Suzette Arada for their hard work and dedication. They showed great commitment by having perfect attendance for the month of May.

May 21, 2026 | The 3rd Regular MTO Monthly Meeting was successfully convened at Guadalupe Farm and Resort, Balactasan, Madalag, Aklan.

Among the significant agenda items taken up were the BTR Guidelines on Sharing of AF 52 and AF 53, Presentation and Discussion of the Results of the Evaluation Criteria for Aklan Top Awards, and other pertinent concerns affecting treasury operations.

The meeting was graciously hosted by the Municipal Treasurer’s Office of Madalag under the leadership of Ms. Amy de Chino. The participants express their sincere appreciation to Ms. de Chino and her dedicated staff for their exemplary hospitality and for the generous tokens extended.
