In observance of National Rabies Awareness Month, the Office of the Provincial Veterinarian-AKLAN and Office of the Municipal Agriculture Balete conducted a school-based education campaign in Maria Feliciano Dela Cruz Elementary School, Arcangel, Balete, Aklan and Dalmacio Empedida Cuatriz Elementary School, Morales, Balete, Aklan.

The topic focus on:
● Rabies prevention. Educating pupils on the dangers of rabies virus and how to avoid dog bites.
● Responsible Pet Ownership. Encouraging pupils to keep their pet's vaccination up to date.
● Emergency response. Teaching proper first aid for animal bites.

The teacher's enthusiasm and warm reception made rabies awareness campaign much more impactful.

The Office of the Provincial Veterinarian-AKLAN and Office of the Municipal Agriculture Makato teaming up for a vital public health initiative.
A house-to-house vaccination drive against rabies conducted today, March 11, 2026 in Brgy. Tugas, Makato, Aklan.
Having the Bachelor of Science in Agriculture students from Aklan State University join the activity, they get hands-on field experience while helping Brgy. Tugas stay rabies-free.
The barangay council of Tugas has been instrumental in the success of the simultaneous rabies vaccination drive.

In observance of Rabies Awareness Month, a collaborative house-to-house anti rabies vaccination campaign was conducted today, March 6, 2026, in Brgy. Camanci Norte, Numancia, Aklan.
This initiative aims to protect public health and work toward a rabies free community by providing free vaccinations to domestic pets.
The vaccination drive was carried out by a combined team from Office of the Provincial Veterinarian-AKLAN , Municipal Agriculture Office Numancia and on-the-job training students from Aklan State University Banga Campus taking up Bachelor of Science in Agriculture major in Animal Science.
Kudos to the barangay council of Camanci Norte for their suppport in making this possible.

The house-to-house anti-rabies vaccination drive conducted in Brgy. Lupo, Altavas, Aklan is part of the province-wide celebration of Rabies Awareness Month this March.
The initiative was a collaborative effort of the Office of the Provincial Veterinarian-AKLAN and the Municipal Agriculture Office Altavas.
Vaccination teams included students from the Bachelor of Science in Agriculture major in Animal Science, providing them with practical field experience.
The drive was made possible through the active coordination and support of the Barangay council of Lupo.

A collaborative house-to-house anti- rabies vaccination drive in Brgy. Bulwang, Numancia, Aklan conducted by the Office of the Provincial Veterinarian-AKLAN and Office of the Municipal Agriculture Numancia with the active support from the Barangay councils of Bulwang.
The team includes Bachelor of Science in Agriculture students from Aklan State University, Banga Campus who are conducting their on-the-job training.

The Office of the Provincial Veterinarian- Aklan, in coordination with the Office of the Municipal Agriculture Balete, recently completed a house-to- house vaccination campaign for pets in Brgy. Morales, Balete, Aklan.
This collaborative effort included on-the-job training students from Aklan State University (ASU) Banga campus, taking up Bachelor of Science in Agriculture major in Animal Science.
The barangay councils of Barangay Morales have played a vital role in coordinating and reaching pet owners throughout the barangay.
