Strengthening partnerships. Advancing peace. Building safer communities.

The Municipal Peace and Order Council (MPOC) and Municipal Anti-Drug Abuse Council (MADAC) convened for their 2nd Quarter Joint Meeting to discuss updates, accomplishments, and strategies in maintaining peace and order and intensifying anti-drug efforts in the Municipality of Kalamansig.

The meeting was further honored by the presence of the Provincial Director of the Sultan Kudarat Police Provincial Office, Police Colonel Marvin A. Fontalva , whose message underscored the importance of collaboration, vigilance, and shared responsibility in sustaining peace and order across our province.

Through collaboration, commitment, and collective action, we continue to work towards a safer, more secure, and drug-free Kalamansig for every Kalamansigueño.

The POPS Planning Workshop was successfully conducted on February 5–6, 2026 at the Multi-Purpose Building, Kalamansig, Sultan Kudarat.

The activity was led by Mayor Ronan Eugene C. Garcia, with the support of Vice Mayor Leslie P. Caberte, MLGOO Ali I. Abdullah and Hon. Ronnie Daniel, and was enriched by the valuable insights shared by the Resource Speakers, LGOO VI Juanito B. Agullana and LGOO VI Jennevieve Marie P. Ferry.

The workshop aimed to guide the participants in the formulation of the 2026–2028 Peace and Order and Public Safety (POPS) Plan, which serves as the municipality’s strategic framework for maintaining peace, strengthening public safety, and ensuring coordinated actions among concerned stakeholders.

‎The Local Government Unit of Kalamansig conducted its last quarter MPOC/MADAC Joint Meeting on December 03, 2025 at the Municipal Multi-Purpose Building.

‎The joint meeting of the Municipal Peace and Order Council (MPOC) and Municipal Anti-Drug Abuse Council (MADAC) was presided over by Mayor Ronan Eugene C. Garcia, supported by Vice Mayor Leslie P. Caberte, MLGOO Ali I. Abdullah, and SB Ronnie T. Daniel.

‎The meeting provided updates on the current peace and order situation, ongoing initiatives, and relevant operational concerns of the following agencies: KMPS, AFP, BFP, and PCG.

‎The MPOC-MADAC meeting is held quarterly to monitor and address the peace and order situation and concerns in the municipality. It also serves as a platform to recognize key contributors and stakeholders involved in peace and order initiatives, supporting the safety and security of the community.
