Adaoay NHS proudly congratulate our participants for their outstanding performance in this year’s 5th Rescue Olympics, held on April 21, 2026 as part of the 17th Ecotourism and Bindiyan Festival of the Municipality of Kabayan.
We are proud to announce that our teams achieved the following:

In addition, our participants earned several major awards, namely:

Their passion for teaching, professionalism, and genuine care for learners have left a meaningful and lasting impact on both students and the entire school community. Through their efforts, they not only shared knowledge but also inspired growth, confidence, and enthusiasm among learners.

​This meaningful activity was made possible through the unwavering support of our resource speakers and partner agencies, namely the Mayor’s Office, Sangguniang Bayan, Kabayan Municipal Police Station, Bureau of Fire Protection, Rural Health Unit, Municipal Accounting Office, Engineering Office, Assessor’s Office, MSWDO, Agriculture Office, COMELEC, Civil Registrar, Tourism Office, MPDO, Bashoy Elementary School, and all other participating offices. Your inspirational messages provided our learners with valuable insights into various career paths and public service opportunities.

​We extend our heartfelt thanks to the Hon. Pelino Bugnay, Chair of the Committee on Education, for the enlightening Career Talk; to our school administrators, led by Sir Danny Q. Otingey, School Principal I; to PTR Job Anthony C. Todiano for the spiritual guidance; and to our dedicated teachers.

​Special commendation was given to our Grade 12 students for their active participation, performances, and enthusiasm, proving that today’s learners are indeed tomorrow’s professionals and leaders.

​LEGAL MANDATES

​This Career Day was anchored on the legal mandates of Career Guidance in Philippine education, specifically:

● ​RA 11206 (Secondary School Career Guidance and Counselling Act): Established a mandatory career guidance and counselling program to assist students in making informed career choices.

● ​RA 10533 (Enhanced Basic Education Act of 2013): Mandated that the DepEd equip learners with skills for tertiary education, employment, and entrepreneurship.

● ​RA 9258 (Guidance and Counselling Act of 2004): Defined the professional practice of guidance and counselling, ensuring qualified personnel managed these services.

● ​DepEd Orders (DO 41, s. 2015 & DO 25, s. 2013): Provided specific guidelines for Senior High School programs and addressed the importance of minimising labour market mismatches.

The class presentations, including singing, testimonies, and poster-making, beautifully showcased the lessons learned during the PVEP sessions.　Your support and dedication made this event truly meaningful.

Adaoay National High School extends its sincere gratitude to the Kabayan Local Government Unit, under the leadership of Hon. Rex Alwin G. Aquisan, for warmly accommodating our fifty-two (52) Grade 12 students in the different offices of LGU-Kabayan during their Work Immersion from February 23 to February 27, 2026.

Your office’s generous support, guidance, and commitment to youth development provided our learners with meaningful exposure to real workplace environments. The knowledge, skills, and values they gained from this experience have greatly contributed to the achievement of the objectives of the Work Immersion Program.

We deeply appreciate the time, effort, and resources extended by your good office in mentoring our students. Louie Jee Narciso, Kabayan District participant, achieved 9th place out of 14 participating districts during the 2026 Division Population and Development (POPDEV) Quiz held on February 27, 2026, at Dap-ayan Restaurant, Pico, La Trinidad, Benguet.
